Following the logic of Republican voters, we should therefore judge all white people by what this guy did.

Your exploitation of the legal system included an agreement to follow our nation's laws. You might have children regardless but it's more a hypothetical. So it still stands.

Let me try rephrasing for you. I know a guy who was found guilty of similar offenses. He had to spend time in a detention center and then got deported back to your home country. He was in violation of the agreement he made with our country to follow our laws upon coming here. That's why he had to go to an immigration detention center, not a regular jail.

Now suppose you were him and suppose you had children. Suppose you eventually got deported but your children were left in a detention center, fenced in and neglected somewhat. Would you find that to be a fair, caring way to treat children who only coincidentally are related to someone breaking a law (i.e. YOU)?

I do not know what children have to do with any of this. I do not think the murderer in this thread has children and besides, even if he did, do you think he should not be prosecuted because that would entail him being separated from his child? No, I already explained it is not the same. There is a big difference between an immutable attribute that one is born with and a conscious choice to migrate to another country illegally. One is a racial category, the other a behavioral one.
