I think you fail to see how that applies to anyone else because you choose to. Because you have backed yourself into a corner. But just in case you really cant see it, exposing somebody as a hypocrite doesn't have to mean exposing that to themselves. The shaming was of course meant to be against Republicans only. That it was to be a public shaming is, of course, obvious.

The statement itself though was so simple-minded and displayed such a stunning lack of awareness of US politics you should have been embarrassed for making it. That you make so many similar statements from such a high horse just adds to the irony.

Alternatively, you could try learning the phrase(s) (copy and paste if you must) "I didn't realize that." "Thanks, I learned something new." or some variation thereof. It will serve you in good stead, not just on message boards.

I wanted to ask Elixir about the three precinct claim as I don't recall it, nor could I find any reference to it. As to the Ohio results in 2004, it was an odd bird, that got odder. Specifically in counties where Kerry received fewer votes than the long-shot Democrat candidate for Supreme Court. Additionally, the gap to W didn't seem to tighten when the urban counties started coming in.

Then a statewide recount was demanded by the Green Party after a fundraiser. It was meant to be a full recount, but most counties managed to miraculously not need full recounts as they got precincts to match up to their official totals, maybe that is what Elixir misremembered.

Ohio would be the state where Diebold (electronic voting machine company) was. And where the CEO of the company stated in a letter to the GOP, he'd be certain to "helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes" to W. The press from that was start of further criticism, that Diebold needed to rebrand their voting machine company to Premier Election Solutions. There was no direct evidence pointing to vote manipulation fraud... but all of the discrepancies ended up heading in W's favor, with a little help from Ken Stockwell.

As far as Georgia, we know for a fact that the Secretary of State enacted policy to work in his favor for the election... much like how Katherine Harris saw to it that the right cards were dealt to W in 2000.

And we know that experts were jumping and shouting regarding inadequacies of voting machines prior to the 2006 election that led to updates and fixes of the machines. Some even dropped the touch screens altogether.

The goring of oxen is a fairly egalitarian pursuit. If there's money, the powers that be at any given moment want it. Some (Republicans) are willing to go to further extremes to appropriate it than are others (Democrats) as a rule. But I am trying really hard to come up with an example of Democrats rigging elections anything like what happened in NC a couple of years ago, or in the Presidential election of 2016, and I'm drawing a blank - maybe you can help me out there, RVonse?
