What you're missing is that it also can work the other way around, especially when pushing group collective identities and divisions, pushing against the "oppressor" class or race or family line and losing sight of individualism. You are not getting it. JP is ignoring the disparity in frequency between right wing and left wing violence and is basically arguing left wing violence is just as bad as right wing violence.
