Rosenstein resigns before trumpo fires him!!!

I saw a youtube clip of Sean Hannity telling Trump that under no circumstances should he fire Rosenstein. It was like he was talking to a six year old, which makes sense.

Is Hannity giving good advice here?

I think I read that Mueller's report goes directly to Rosenstein (or his replacement?) who then has the option of releasing as much or none of it as he or she wants. So there's that.

Rosenstein went to the White House to talk to Kelly... about a meeting with Trump on Thursday? So did the #resistance interfere with his firing?

Long story short, the resignation was FAKE. RR is not resigning; there is a meeting scheduled for THURSDAY though which is clearly scheduled to distract further from the Ford testimony. This story was specifically floated to derail discussion about Kavanaugh. To talk about the RR resignation story is to be a traitor to the rule of law and the integrity of the SCOTUS.

RR will not resign. Trump cannot fire him.

Hopefully you're right. It would be a shame though, if they went through all this scheduling bullshit to make Ford distract from the Rosenstein firing and vice-versa, then have to postpone the Ford hearing due to the mounting number of accusers against Kavanaugh.
I admit to enjoying just a tiny bit of schadenfreude, having heard alt-right talking heads state with great authority that Ford must be lying, or there would be other accusers...

Yeah....what ELSE is happening on Thursday? Distraction attempt, much?

If Trump fires RR, nobody that could be confirmed by Congress, would be crazy enough to take that job. On second thought, is Lindsey Graham crazy enough to take that job? He's certainly sold out to Trump. Plus, if he fires RR now, it could be the start of a Saturday massacre, which could have a very negative impact for then Rs during the midterms. Maybe he'll wait until after the midterms. Even if RR convinces DT that he was only kidding about the 25th, DT is too paranoid to feel comfortable around RR for very long. Hmmmm....

What do you other armchair pundits think?

That we should completely ignore the RR garbage and keep focusing on the gang-rapist perjurer blackmail risk.

They get the Eyes Wide Shut treatment, the good kind not what Tom Cruise got.
