It's actually his minions simply not being rats. If they sang like canaries instead of obstructing justice, we'd see more and different charges of higher ups in the campaign. This crime family follows simple crime family procedure, no genius status needed.

Yeah - what's left of it. He is shrinking that party like a wet wool sock in a dryer.
There were 241 Republican members of the House when the Trump Mob came to power. 100 of them (41.5%) have since been ousted, have left of their own accord or have announced their retirement. In 2017 24% of Americans identified as Republicans. Right now it could be as low as 15%. Not exactly a firm foundation from which to claim any mandate.

Regarding trial schedule, it appears both sides rested their cases today. The defense rested after showing clips of Stone's Congressional testimony.

The prosecution recalled one witness today. The other witness was Gates as per the 3 links above. Then the prosecution rested.

Closing arguments/finishing arguments are supposed to be tomorrow.

This is playing out just like mob prosecutions. Start with the little guys and get them to flip. Then continuously move up the line. I wonder when the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) charges will come about.

Disclaimer - I am a not-starving old white man who knows a few people in lesser positions of power, and I would be hauled straight to the clink if I ever did something like any of the things for which Roger was found guilty.

The prosecutors wanted him locked up immediately, which, IMO, would have been appropriate, given all his antics during the trial. However, the judge treated him like the first time offender that he is. That is, this is the first time he has been made to answer for his crimes. He is now a convicted felon. However, she set the sentencing date for February and kept the gag order on him. Presumably, he goes to jail immediately, if he breaks it. I would not be surprised if Trump pardoned him before then. He has already expressed his outrage at how unfair it is that Hillary Clinton goes free, while this turkey gets convicted of all counts by a jury.
