RussiaGate

Just heard about this so I looked at the article. I understand that those of you using Twitter are most likely well aware of this? I also understand why you'd not want to include it in the record in this thread.

No evidence has emerged publicly that Mr. Trump was secretly in contact with or took direction from Russian government officials. An F.B.I. spokeswoman and a spokesman for the special counsel’s office both declined to comment.

“Indeed, Donald Trump and I have, firstly, met more than once at various international venues and secondly, we regularly talk over the phone,” Putin said, according to the official transcript the Kremlin released online.

and, BTW, from your link.:

The cloud of the Russia investigation has hung over Mr. Trump since even before he took office, though he has long vigorously denied any illicit connection to Moscow. The obstruction inquiry, revealed by The Washington Post a few weeks after Mr. Mueller was appointed, represented a direct threat that he was unable to simply brush off as an overzealous examination of a handful of advisers. But few details have been made public about the counterintelligence aspect of the investigation.

Read it again. Note the word: publicly

So!

Familiarize yourself with the word "publicly" and the words "the investigation is not yet concluded, nor have its findings been published."

Already aware of the use of 'publicly'. The fact is the FBI hadn't found any evidence. You can bet it would have been leaked had they.

Manafort’s handing of internal polling data go the Russian intel guy stayed quiet until accidentally leaked by Manafort’s lawyers.

As a reminder, Manafort was the campaign manager, not merely one of the several dozen coffee boys Trump had.

What are you, an echo chamber?

Do you honestly believe that if Mueller had evidence that if there was a traitor sitting in the oval office of the US, he wouldn't get that person removed asap by bringing the evidence forward as soon as it came to light?

If that's what Robert Mueller is doing he's in for some shit as soon as he does make it public.

The fact is the FBI hadn't found any evidence.

So great to learn that we have a "poster" who can tell us exactly what the FBI does and doesn't know.

You can bet it would have been leaked had they.

Yeah, because the Mueller investigation is so well known to be a leak factory, right?

"I too don't like Trump"suckers are so transparent...

You all seem to be under the notion that any information that leaks is evidence.

LOL

Huh? YOU are the one who says that if evidence exists, it is leaked.
You can don the mantle of false reason, but your trumpsucking clearly shows through.

I don't think it is necessary to go there re: Trump taking direct orders from the Kremlin. What we know so far is pretty damning. Even what we knew from the beginning is damning without all the extra knowledge and indictments. We need to know how far this went and so Mueller has to continue, but again what we knew back then is already damning. And by that I mean the Trump Tower meeting, lying about the purpose of it, Trump dictating his son's response to the FBI. That's obstruction right there.

This is all extra, some of it we are very confident about and some less so: Penthouse for Putin, Russian peepee hookers, new Trump hotel in Russia, scores of indictments, actual convictions, Russians hacking into the DNC, secret bank transactions, and Trump saying some pretty accountable-sounding things over Twitter or publicly otherwise.

Again, there ought to be impeachment just over the initial things we knew about the meeting and lying about it but we need to also get to the bottom of most of the other crap.

Such a cogent rebuttal - that is the BEST that "I'm not a trumpsuckers" can offer...

And there are times you appear reasonable. Perhaps politics just isn't your thing?

What you all seem to forget is that there were third-party people at that meeting. The interpreter for one. There's no doubt Mueller questioned them all and is why nobody was indicted for it. The meeting was innocuous.

Neither the meeting nor the obstruction are innocuous. The only reasons no one is indicted is that (1) it takes time to bring these criminals down, you have to make them talk and (2) we don't know the full extent of criminality and so more investigation is needed. Both Manafort and now the Russian woman are charged with other criminal offenses and talking is going to happen. There will be a future indictment in regards to the obstruction or it will be part of an impeachment charge.

Already aware of the use of 'publicly'.

Clearly not.

The fact is the FBI hadn't found any evidence.

How would you possibly know that?

You can bet it would have been leaked had they.

So now your argument is, because something wasn't leaked, it's a fact that it doesn't exist?

Congratulations. You just graduated from Trump University.

ETA: Just saw this idiocy as well:

You all seem to be under the notion that any information that leaks is evidence.

So, the fact that evidence wasn't leaked, proves that it doesn't exist and if something is leaked, then that does not necessarily mean it's evidence.

You need to be sure to donate your brain stem to science.

I get a kick watching you guys piss your pants.

That's good! Maybe it will keep you around. I hope that through your insipid commentary, we can continue to monitor the approach of the "i'm not a trumjpsuckers" toward all the evidence already in public and all the evidence to come, of your orange avatar's treasonous activities.
