Huh. So people aren't willing to pay money to hear what Sarah Palin has to say. What a shocker.
 
She had a paid channel? And it was $10 a month?! Did she think she could pump enough content to be worth $10 a month?

In a word, no. As usual, she got lazy and her fans got very little from her. Apparently the rest was just filler. Not enough derp to justify wasting time with her idiot channel.

Wow. The woman who almost made it through half a term as governor got lazy and stopped working? That's unexpected.
 
I'm not surprised, as her speaking fees were declining rapidly several years ago, and her personal slush/travel fund...aka SaraPAC is on a steady decline. Receipts have declined from the head 2010/2012 days of $5ish million per cycle, to less than $500k so far in this cycle. I foresee no more $5,000* visits to the Waldorf Astoria in New York City in her future paid for by others. SarahPAC will probably go kaput by 2018.

Sounds like she's going to need a new job of some sort in the very near future. Any speculation on what her next employment gig might be?

Well, it is estimated that her net worth is around $12 million. She doesn't need a new job. She may be dumb, but she ain't stupid... She quit her governor job to cash in on the book/lecture/media circus, apparently realizing that her fame would be fleeting. She has also milked her PAC for years, allowing her to live it up while the income stream flowed in from her various celebrity based efforts from her PAC spending. Or she actually is dumb and stupid, and just got very lucky in several of her choices, including not blowing this new big wad of money coming in.
 
What I find appalling is that her PAC still receives money at all!

Does she? Seems like she is a good spender, not a saver. Besides, the PAC money probably can't be used for personal living, just bs "personal expenses" related to her "political" career.
 
I'm trying to think of someone I would give $10.00 to every month just to be able to watch them on TV and hear them talk. She should have started a new church and hired a fiery preacher who railed against lazies, booze and casual sex. Her whole family could then have become examples of how god gives people second, third and 100th chances. Has potential.

True, but as I understand it, PAC rules are pretty loose. As well, as her traveling (luxury eating, flying, limos, hoteling) to events would have helped keep her name out there to help with books sales, Phaux contracts, speaking fees, and of course encourage more lemmings to send money to SarahPAC. And it is always nice to have someone to write speeches for you at PAC expense.

I can think of a few, if they read the news naked, maybe. $5/Month for topless.

On the other hand, Sarah should have gone for a slightly different deal. If she was down in the corner of the screen, commenting on the news, I might pay $10 a month to block her transmission.
