Trump, after Munich Conference:
"Good evening. I have just concluded a wonderful meeting with Herr Hitler, and I am announcing that the threat of war with Germany is over. The world can sleep peacefully tonight....If you had not elected me President, we would be at war by now. But I have a great relationship with Adolph. He wrote me some beautiful letters, and we fell in love...He is a strong leader who loves his people, and you know it's not easy to rule a country like this one. But when he speaks, his people sit up at attention...He says that Czechoslovakia is his last issue, and my people came to me and told me not to trust him, but I must tell you that he was very forceful in his position that this is the last demand, and I take him at his word. Herr Hitler told me about the problems he's had on his eastern border, with basically Czech rapists and murderers and, I assume, some fine people...(Reporter: Did you ask about Kristallnacht?) Yes, I certainly did, and again, he most forcefully told me that the so-called Kristallnacht was a hoax, or Ersatz Neues, as I think they call it here. Again, my advisors told me that the Nazis did it, but I can't imagine why it would have been the Nazis...He showed me pictures of Danzig and the Polish corridor, and with my background, I could see beautiful real estate with a waterfront view. I would love to get in on that and make wonderful deals for us and for Herr Hitler....I will be sending Jared as my personal envoy...He will be staying in Berlin, perhaps in a special apartment in Herr Hitler's personal quarters...(Reporter: But isn't...no, forget it.) (Trump body-hugs the American flag, while making goo-goo eyes for the camera. He turns and briefly heils the Nazi flag.) Remember, my campaign was based on promises made, promises kept. And now, Sean Hannity. Come on up here, Sean!!
