I love Ian Anderson's casual but accurate description of determinism in this bit. Just listen from 17:26 to about 18:03. I don't expect this thread to draw much interest, but I wanted to share it because, when you get down to it, philosophy, or philosophical topics and ideas, are for Everyman, not just the three bald guys in the white tower. I'm not too sure that Mark Goodman* was paying attention.

*The more I listen, I'm not too sure Mark Goodman was conscious during the interview. He suggests that Ian made up the word 'Aqualung', and Ian doesn't correct him...
