Terror Attack on Train in Belgium Thwarted

You think a guy tossing fucking stones at the police is a threat. A naked man acting crazy is a threat. A black guy slowly walking towards the cops with hands in view is a threat. Now some mutherfuckin' white guy carrying a semi-automatic weapon isn't a threat?! Are you fucking kidding me?!

The guy carrying the gun has the ability to do serious harm. However, simply transporting a weapon, even openly, says nothing about your intent to actually use it. So long as you are in an area where it's legal to be doing that you have no reason to think the weapon-bearer intends you any ill will.

Bullshit. You are quoted on here saying that a person without a weapon can be a threat, so if that is true, a person with a very dangerous weapon is automatically a threat.

The stone thrower, however, obviously does bear ill will towards the target of the stones.

And the asshole with the gun in the train could have killed dozens, just like the guy in the airport could have kill dozens in a mere minute, where as the guy throwing stones wouldn't likely have done more than hurt someone. But yes, kill the stone thrower and let the guy with the semi-automatic in the airport lobby walk about. He is a second away from being a threat, we have plenty of time to deal with it then.

The crazy is a more complex situation. If they're standing there shouting for Jesus to clean the mud off their clothes then there's no threat. However, in the sorts of situations we are talking about it's someone who is crazy and attacking those around him.

Amazingly in the NYC case, unarmed Swedes took down a crazy guy. In France, unarmed men took down the well armed terrorist. Fucking incredible shit really. But in LP's world, shoot the crazy motherfucker.

See the difference? Means isn't enough, hostility is required.

The west interfering in the Middle East isn't helping them, so you are therefore proposing to ban everyone from travelling there except soldiers who are there in an active military role?

SACRAMENTO: Paris Train Attack Hero Spencer Stone Critically Stabbed After Leaving Gay Disco

Spencer Stone, the US Airman who recently won international accolades for thwarting a shooting on a Paris train, has been critically stabbed after he and a group of friends left Badlands, a popular gay disco in the Sacramento neighborhood known as Lavender Heights. The Sacramento Bee reports:

Officers were called at 12:46 a.m. Thursday to the 2100 block of K Street where they found Stone with multiple stab wounds in his torso. Blood still marked the sidewalk Thursday morning near a bank parking lot and a bar. One source with knowledge of the investigation said Stone was with two men and three women at Badlands Dance Club at 20th and K streets, then left and walked one block east, where the altercation began and Stone was stabbed. Police do not believe the attack was a hate crime. Officers initially thought Stone would not survive the stabbing. However, once he arrived at the UC Davis Medical Center staff was able to stem the bleeding and he is expected to survive. Stone’s parents were at the hospital Thursday morning. Sacramento police did not identify the stabbing victim as Stone, but the Air Force has since confirmed his identity.

Police are examining surveillance footage from the area in the hope of identifying the attacker. Stone is a Sacramento native.
