"As part of a redesign that will be unveiled next March, the print edition of Playboy will still feature women in provocative poses. But they will no longer be fully nude."

Its executives admit that Playboy has been overtaken by the changes it pioneered. “That battle has been fought and won,” said Scott Flanders, the company’s chief executive. “You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passé at this juncture.”

Yay, Playboy is finally safe for work. Oh, wait....

What's happening to the soft porn industry? An Australian men's mag has shut shop altogether. This week they printed the last edition of Zoo Magazine. A fun and girlie shoots mag aimed at men between the ages of 20-40.

I only ever bought those magazines for the humour and the articles you understand!. :)

I bought them for the same reason I bought National Geographic. I like to look at pictures of places I'm never going to visit.

Well, my mother only read Playboy for the articles.

Easily proven by the fact that she was reading the Braille edition--which completely omitted the photospread articles rather than the usual approach of including a description of the photograph.

Also, the very existence of the Braille version implies there were a fair number of such people--they didn't prepare Braille (or later record or tape) versions of stuff without a fair amount of demand.
