Our president unrestrained by congress is beginning ti wield militancy power like any dictator. It serves his image.

A few hours ago Iran retaliated with a missile attack on US assets. Who knows what haens next.

Oil flow stops and economies may crash.

The USA which once had some amount of a moral high ground no longer exists. We are descending into 3rd world politics.

I an serious. A cursory review of history indicates we are in motion that can not be stopped.

The House will be able to limit some of what he'll try to do and then the election will stop him. If this escalates into a full-blown invasion it will be deeply unpopular among the significant right-leaning Independent and sane Republican swing. A fundamental promise/appeal was that he was going to end the wars. Yes, a core percentage (15-20%) will not stop jizzing all over social media, but then they've been doing that nonstop anyway and are irrelevant.

And if the Senate Republicans STILL do nothing to stop any of this, they will pay an even heavier price in the 2020 Senate elections than already predicted.

It's the swing that matters and this will drive them left, not further right, particularly among the Independents.

Those were conservatives mourning him, not liberals. That's the problem. Conservative culture is violent and fantasy driven. It's an Islamo-Judeo-Christian tradition. I doubt anyone is mourning his death. What we ARE "mourning" is the familiar road this leads to and the easily avoidable and completely pointless deaths of the thousands that will follow, both on "our" side and theirs. As has recently been conceded, there was no military/national security reason for this assassination. Trump clealry did it--as he does all things--for personal/political gain and to shift focus off of his impeachment, precisely as he repeatedly asserted Obama would do.
