You all know the bizarre persecution complex that Christians have. You already know the mantra I usually spit out in response to that. The Nazis claimed they were being persecuted by Jews even as the opposite happened. Muslims in Muslim-majority countries insisted that they are being persecuted by whatever religious minorities live among them. Apartheid South Africans insisted they were being persecuted by black South Africans, etc.
This of course is to show that people doing the persecuting often accuse their victims of their own crimes in order to rationalize what they are doing (e.g. Christians claiming that they are being persecuted by homosexuals).
So of course Christians get angry when I point this out, but today I got a response I never expected. A Christian actually argued that the Nazis really were being persecuted by Jews. Because Jewish bankers.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore. Can I get off at the next stop?
