Three NYPD officers given poisoned shakes at a Shake Shack in Manhattan

Teamsters are truck drivers and the like. Not police officers.

I just reported a news story. Given the history of both attacks against police and employees of food establishments refusing to serve police, the story had a great deal of verisimilitude.

Plenty of labor groups who are not truck drivers are under the umbrella of Teamsters.
Curious, why did Teamsters become the topic of conversation when the ridiculous farce from the Union came out regarding the poisoning of officers? Did teamsters poison the cops?

LOL. Derec smolletted all over himself with this one.

Officers Who Police Union Falsely Claimed Were "Poisoned" By Shake Shack Reportedly Never Had Symptoms - Gothamist

This was so stupid from the beginning. They ordered the shakes on an app, not in person.

What a farce. Police unions are the worst unions.
Well, I'm certainly glad this didn't spiral too far out of control, otherwise, the Commissioner would have been visiting the homes of these officers to offer condolences for their loss. Been even worse after they were buried alive.

Burial Guy: Sorry Doug, but the Union insists you are dead. Drank a poisoned shake.
Doug: No I didn't. I'm clearly alive! Look at me.
Burial Guy: Can't argue with the Union, you shoulda been more careful. Nails coffin.

Then the lawyer for the Shack employee demands a second, independent autopsy, because no one can find the results from the first.
Exhumed toxicology finds no signs of poison, but the casket shows scratches from inside!

US union system is confusing as all hell.

It surely beats San Francisco Labor Council though which openly supports those who murder police officers.

You've been found to be wrong, so quick change the subject. Derail and run! Drop a controversial bomb and run!

Hahaha, good one. The story you read said that "police said [such and such]." Just because police say something doesn't make it true. Let's put it this way. Imagine the police said a white Christian man raped a black liberal woman behind a dumpster when no one was around to see it. Would you go off claiming it was true and use it as some kind of jumping point to further your own political hobby horses or would you say, "I support the American justice system. Innocent until proven guilty. The liberal mafia is declaring this poor guy guilty and trying him in public. *followed by crying and violins*." You can't have it both ways Derec. People around here having been watching what you post for years and calling you on your inconsistencies. So, don't claim objectivity. You looked at mere claims and you promoted them to facts because you saw them through a subjective lens of your political preferences.

At least, someone could have followed the same script when it comes to alleged rapists of "Innocent until proven guilty".

Some police unions have lied about officers being served poisoned shakes.

Three NYPD Officers Hospitalized After Eating at Manhattan Shake Shack: Police

This police-hatred that the Left is ratcheting up is getting totally out of hand!

You didn't just report a story: you took a claim as factual and then on top of it, you used it as a springboard for your personal politics. But the claim wasn't factual. You got Smolleted.

Indeed, you did not “just report.” You added your editorial about “The Left” having “police hatred” that is “out of hand”. If you had been just reporting a story, it would not have spewed out with the vilification of your enemies.

You doubt stories all the time with no objective reason. But that got stunted here because it fit your desired vilification of “the Left”.

Confirmation bias rickrolled you.

Now, what is it you claim is a just punishment for someone falsely accusing? Same punishment as if they were the perp, right? So this is where we arrest you for trying to poison a police officer?

San Francisco Labor Council Passes Resolution Supporting Mumia Abu-Jamal

Did you read the contents of that link?

Whereas, he is innocent of the charge of killing a police officer, framed up and sentenced to death in 1982 by a racist judicial system without any corroborating physical evidence and on false testimony by coerced witnesses and by suppressing evidence of his innocence, including witnesses who said Mumia was not the shooter and the confession of a man that he, not Mumia, shot and killed the police officer, and

Whereas, Mumia Abu-Jamal since he was a 15 year old member of the Black Panther Party was targeted by the FBI’s counter-intelligence program (COINTELPRO) and the notoriously corrupt Philadelphia police department, which was repeatedly investigated by the federal government, and

Whereas, Mumia’s 1981 trial before racist judge Sabo, known for sending more men to death row than any other judge in the U.S., who stated before Mumia’s trial that he was going “to help them fry the n—-r;” and a jury selected by excluding Black people; and

Whereas, Mumia remained on death row for nearly 30 years, saved from execution in 1995 and 1999 by international mass protest supported by trade unions and despite a December 2001 federal court ruling that Mumia’s death sentence was illegal, Mumia remained in solitary confinement on death row, until 2012 when he was re-sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, and...

... there's more, but the part you care about is that a labor council is calling for an examination of what appears to be a very unjust trial and that's, what, disloyal or something?

So in this case, the just desserts are a shake? ;)

It wasn't an "unjust trial". That piece of shit is guilty.

And what business is the Wesley Cook case (which happened in Philadelphia) to the SF labor council?

The hatred of police by the far Left is pretty clear even without this case.

If you had been just reporting a story, it would not have spewed out with the vilification of your enemies.
Will you be saying the same next time one of your fellow leftists is bitching about "white people" or "the right"?

Wrong. I doubt stories when there is a reason to doubt it. There have been cases of fast food workers refusing service to police officers before, so something like this was quite plausible.

Now, what is it you claim is a just punishment for someone falsely accusing? Same punishment as if they were the perp, right? So this is where we arrest you for trying to poison a police officer?

Read the article. They think the milk shakes were contaminated with a cleaner by accident, and not deliberately. This is not a false accusation like Duke Lacrosse or something. It is not Jussie Smollett, but more like Bubba Wallace.

Then a trial adjudicated by an unbiased judge with a jury of peers (i.e a fair trial) should result in a guilty verdict. Anyone who upholds the basic principles of the US understands that the process used to come to a verdict is more important than the verdict.

You seem to have forgotten your accusations in the OP, where you never once mentioned an accident, but rather hatred that had go e too far. You should go back and read your false accusation before the police come for you.
