Trump appears to be oblivious to 'the political process', whatever that may be, since he is behaving like a bull in a china shop and only listening to his extremist advisors, many of whom have no relevant qualifications or experience whatsoever.
Sure, the law can be changed - eventually. Four years? Eight years? In the meantime, this man takes off like an unguided missile and is set to do untold damage to international relations across the world with potential dire consequences for us all.
As a wise man said, it is easy to break stuff, far more difficult to mend it. But hey, who needs wisdom when you can have unfettled power?
