This segment includes a lengthy history lesson about Nixon's infamous "enemies list," which shows that Republicans have hated the rule of law at least since Nixon, although it is worth noting that in Nixon's time, there were a few Republicans left who put country before party.

It's interesting that in the 1970s, abuse of power, undermining the rule of law, and interfering with an ongoing investigation were considered grounds for impeachment, whereas in the modern Republican party not even treason is a valid reason for impeachment.

The fact that the Godly Christians that wear patriotism on their sleeve every chance they get are the real criminals here isn't lost on many - except the evangelicals of course.

Well, yeah.

Christians believe in "objective" morality, so they are good because they are Christian. What they do is irrelevant to whether or not they are morally good or evil.

Because they do it all right out in the open, there is nothing illegal about it. Everyone can see that Cheato is using the power of the Presidency to pursue his petty personal vendetta, due to his overweening jealousy of a REAL billionaire. So... no there there.
