So you might have heard that President Biden ordered the release of all detained illegals in America. Tucker Carlson said so. He has an email!

EXCLUSIVE – On Joe Biden's first day in office, the Department of Homeland Security issued a sweeping directive calling for a 100-day pause in deportations. "Tucker Carlson Tonight" has since obtained an internal email sent Thursday to ICE officers in Texas that shows how the order was enacted.

"As of midnight tonight, stop all removals," the email reads. "This includes Mexican bus runs, charter flights and commercial removals (until further notice) ... all cases are to be considered [no significant likelihood of removal in foreseeable future]."

The email goes on to say: "Release them all, immediately. No sponsor available is not acceptable any longer."

Pretty damning stuff if you don't know how to spot a quote mining. That said, the article gets real interesting later on.

So we made some calls, and we learned that the Department of Homeland Security is currently hammering out how to enact the memorandum. It does not specifically call for the instant release of all migrants in detention.

I'll requote the key part...
"It (memorandum) does not specifically call for the instant release of all migrants in detention."

So Fox News' website, posts exclusively in the Title and right off the bat that Biden order release of all illegals. Then near the end of the article... they completely refute the Headline!

Whadya expect? They have so much competition now, they need to keep up with OAN and the other crazies. They know their braindead moron followers (which is most of their audience) will only read the headlines, then go twit about it repeatedly. That's all that really matters.

The line at the end is only to prevent them from being sued.

Faux recently dropped in ratings massively. So they are scraping the bottom of the barrel to get back viewers lost to Newsmax, OANN and other far more extreme right wing news sources. Faux also had a tendency to avoid reporting on news that would not be palatable to the most rabid right wingers,so viewers who wanted news about important current stories left for MSNBC, ABC, and CNN.
