Barron did just finish reading Catcher In The Rye. Holden uses 'phony' the way some people use 'socialist.'

The Democratic Party will not want to alienate police right now and they will also not want to alienate African Americans. So, an African American prosecutor or policewoman seems like the choice.

I was thinking either Kamala Harris or Val Demmings.

So, let me get this straight. Kamala Harris dropped out of the primary before the Iowa caucus because of very poor support by Democrats. It was also reported that her campaign staff had lots of complaints about how she ran things behind the scenes. Then, she blames her poor performance in the primaries on fellow Democrats being racist and sexist. On top of that, Democrats (and Biden himself) recognize Biden's advancing age and mental decline, and that there's a reasonable chance that she may have to take over at some point in his term. So, Dems would be stuck with a President they never particularly liked from the get-go, and who essentially thinks of them as "deplorables". And Biden thinks this is a situation that the people want, and it will help his chances of winning? I think the mental decline is even further along than I thought.
