I wondered if the solid CA vote would actually reduce her chances of being selected. I think Rice would have been a better choice in terms of political strategy, but we shall see. Kamala is a strong campaigner, so that's certainly a strength.

I think Biden felt more comfortable having a running mate who has run for office before. I think she is a good pick, but there were quite few women who were also well qualified. For some reason, there were several negative editorials written about Rice this week, but I doubt that had anything to do with why Biden chose Harris. I'm not a fan of debates, but I will enjoy watching her rip Pence apart, just for the entertainment value.

You kidding me? She is going to targeted as a communist by the right-wing despite her having few progressive bones in her body. I think Trump already launched a video about the far left and Harris... which is hilarious as Attorney Generals are rarely ever progressive forget radical.
She is the right choice, though I would have preferred a Harris-Klobuchar ticket.

Well, Warren was considered heavily. I hear that she was in the top 4. I'd consider her to be progressive. I think that after the George Floyd murder, he was boxed in. Having said that, I really like Harris.
