First of all, I'm not sure atheists are more angry than theists. You want angry? Look at houses Christians reacted when people criticized a chicken restaurant's support of the kill the gays laws in Africa, out house Muslims react to even the most minor criticisms.
I think the "Why are atheists angry" argument is just a disingenuous attempt at either an appeal to consequence or a poisoning the well fallacy.
Having said all of that, this is a beautiful, if partial, list of the horrible things done by religion in the world today.
He didn't even mention setting children on fire for witchcraft in Africa.
