Sorry to hear that. I have a friend who lives here in Georgia but is originally from Cincinnati and he may retire back up there. He despises Trump and never voted for the Rs. He has promised to visit us when we move to Indy, another blue city in the heart of a red state. Shit. So, we are going from purple to red, unless the Dems do a better job of messaging.

It is hard to beat sociopaths. The GOP hasn't messaged better... they've just lied a lot better. From McCain's mixed black child to Swift Boats to Birthers to selling January 6th wasn't a big deal. They lie so much better. They have no shame. And really, they've won. The people gave it to them. They did in 2010 in response to ACA. Again in 2016 because... In Texas, where I used to live, they've been in charge since the late 90s, and are still running as if the Democrats control the legislature and the governor's office.
