Just kidding around. Just to put a spin on it. Hell, they could of just had a damn orgy and it would have been less humiliating than THAT. I don't buy into the thread title. But anyhoot, I didn't really have a reason to think it was fake news. It did sound like fake towns though, lol.
Well, if a human has a rabies infection, the disease is not sexually transmitted to another human, provided they don't kiss each other. This is the set up for a very old barn yard joke.
As for legitimate sexual outlets, a donkey is not a legitimate sexual outlet. Unenlightened States which outlaw homosexual relations always have a prohibition of bestiality. Enlightened States include the prohibition in their animal cruelty statutes.
This is a very old problem, no less shocking today, than it was 5000 years ago.
The point is when you deny legitimate sexual outlets people turn to improper sexual outlets.

THat's not just denial of sexual outlets. One or two boys in dire straits, maybe. Living in such poverty that he shares a bedroom with four sisters, or a mother that beats him with a bible if he's in the bathroom for more than 3 minutes.
Fifteen, with the same donkey, means there was peer pressure involved. Taunting, bullying. Or maybe a club was formed. Do not talk about Donkey Club.
But anyway, that's a LOT of boys for some serious sexual deprivation. Denial doesn't explain it. It's far too easy to just masturbate, or, like, you get two jelly donuts and a watermelon...
I figure it's simply a matter of more boys than donkeys and no access to women.

The reason this abuse of the donkey came to light was because of the rabies. One wonders how much sexual abuse of donkeys and goats happens in such parts of the world that doesn't make the news.
About the same amount as in places such as ours, with some adjustment for the availability of donkeys and goats.
The point is, given the opportunity, this is what teen age boys do. It really is all about the availability of a donkey and the relative privacy needed for this sort of thing.

Exactly. This was a very small tip of the iceberg, not a one-off.
Such things need both donkeys or the like and a lack of accessible women. Thus I think there would be more in such places than here.
Age of consent laws mean teen boys do not have accessible women, and I haven't heard any good arguments in favor of relaxing these laws.
I can tell you never spent much time on a farm, either on this continent, or any other.

Where did you all get the info that it was all boys? The article just says "teenagers" and "children". Its my experience when the media uses more inclusive language, like "children" instead of "boys" that means there are a mix of boys and girls. Or perhaps its all girls, but they don't want to mention it. In fact, I was thinking girls myself, all along, as it was a donkey. The boys seem to go for more furry, huggable critters, like sheep.
I've not seen it myself, but apparently sex shows involving women and farm animals are quite the thing in Mexico.
