There is a girl at my job who behaves as if she is of two minds.
Some days, she seems eager to talk (or at least communicate in some way) to me, and quite often locks eyes with me or otherwise seems to try to make a non-verbal contact over the office space.
Other days, she seems completely off to me, doesn't look at me and seems to try to avoid me.
So why is she behaving like this? Since I have Aspergers, I'm certainly missing a lot of implicit communication (not just with her but with everyone actually, just a fact of life for me). Pretty much everyone else has a more consistent behavior with me (whether it's friendly or hostile).
The few times I have spoken for a longer time with her (beyond "hi"), it has been a rather stiff conversation.
Her friend is usually goofy (in a joking and friendly way) when she talks to me.
