Graduated from ski mask in Moscow Death Brigade. Good lyricist and the mask is pretty sweet.
 
I can't link to a video, because the whole shebang has been scrubbed from the internet for the most part, but I'm listening to Garth Brooks "In the Life of Chris Gaines."

Garth - at the height of his being the biggest solo act in history - put together a soundtrack for a film about a fictional pop star that he'd play when the movie was eventually made.

It was never made.

But the songs were, and for a brief moment the project was "out there" in the world. A video for the first single called "Lost in You" was released. Garth hosted Saturday Night Live and played the song "Right Now" (which borrowed the hook of "Get Together" from the Youngbloods) and for a time it seemed that the project might actually happen.

Then the album failed. Well, went double platinum...but at the time that was a colossal failure for Garth Brooks. The thing is, the songs on the album are actually pretty good. I got an advance copy and have held onto it for all these years, and it holds up pretty well.
 
I thought they overdid the mic feedback thing at the beginning of Joe's "performance," but that aside, this is pretty hilarious:
