I worked stage security at an all-day dub-step festival, three feet from the right hand PA stack. It was pure torture.

Although the final band, Naiswan, was one of the most innovative and enjoyable bands I've ever come across. Not to mention that they were damn nice people and had some kick-ass smoke. They've moved from Detroit area and are now based in Los Angeles so I highly recommend anyone in that area that if you get a chance to see this band live, do it.
