What names in physics or science in general would you change?

There's an "r" in "electricity". There's an "r" in "neutral". There is no "r" in "positive".

Oh come on. It's a portmanteau of "positive" and "electron." Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

When the Big Bang theory was originally being debated, the term big bang was meant to be an insult, but was adopted by proponents.

I really would prefer if it were called expansion theory or something similar, because that more clearly communicates what it is. The general public does not seem to understand the whimsy of the term big bang, and creationists try to refute it using the confusion created by the term.
