It's not what actually happened that bothers me nearly as much as that nobody blew the whistle on this.

That has bugged me a lot about this last administration. So many people knew what was going on and none blew the whistle.

Well I’m sure when Trump becomes President again his administration will be super transparent because he cares so much for the American people.

Everyone Else: This is an insane & mind-blowing tragedy!!

Urban America: This is normal police practice.

Agreed. We actually knew this was occurring especially in Portland, Oregon. But, the problem is, we keep finding out about all this stuff that was being manufactured, and even among the professionals in DC, this stuff wasn't getting leaked. It really does go to show that the Trump Admin was a first go run around for an authoritarian government. They learned their lessons and will stuff more and more true believers into these positions of power, after an employee purge of course.

Urban America is the presumed guilt of people.

In the Trump Administration, they were manufacturing crime (kind of like how the W Admin had that yellow turn to orange due to a "threat" of terrorism, whenever they needed PR cover). Look at this board. We have true believers who think it is the End Times out there now.

Yes, Urban populations know better of heavy handed, unequal distribution of police protection/prosecution. But the scope of what the W Admin gave to Trump and they expanded on, is nationwide and intended to end our democracy in general.

We still don’t know the half of it.
Trump is a mobster through and through.

The same America that enslaved Africans for hundreds of years and are still in denial of it's effects? Believe you me, I'm neither shocked, afraid nor unique.

Believe me... what we are seeing in the US now... is echo'ing the worse that was to become in Europe in the 1920s. Though for Blacks, think 1960s South Africa for the future of blacks in America. Sure, not as bad a Haiti in the 18th century, maybe not as bad as 19th century slavery, but temporarily permanent (because all things do eventually change with time). Think Jackson, MS and Flint, MI.

I still can't find a surprised Pikachu near me.

I'm an unbeliever and I'm getting a bit of a wiggins right now as goes the end times bullshit.

The problem is that we have people who are practically chomping at the bit to self-fulfill that prophecy.

Science might end up disproving God. That can't be allowed to happen.

Honestly, the more I read it and the more I come to understand, the things they believe in exist, but the things that they believe about those things are wrong, inaccurate, or not-even-wrong.

It's like homeopathy, where folks believe that disease and medicines exist but the things they end up believing about disease and medicine are just straight up wrong, built on flawed thinking.

I think that terrifies them more than anything: that an atheist, someone who they think doesn't "believe" in "god", could possibly come to understand more about it than even that do, more than they ever could.

"Sin" is just  ignorance. "God" is just the principles of set theory and the various things that compile from it, to include ethics based on the intersection of wills and freedom in a situation of possible mutual exclusivity of goals. So "having a relationship with god" can lead to "revelation" of "ethical laws".

The problem is that they confuse wanting something to be true with things actually being true. They want to claim in words that won't force them to show their work that "they did the math (talked to god)" and came up with a "solution (revelation)" in a linguistic model where they won't be expected to show their work.

They want people to listen to them without showing their work. If science proves all work can stand to be shown, then that cuts off the gravy train of being to just make shit up without being called on it.
