5. Pelevina gives the sex tape to the FSB: Why? It will hurt her and Kasyanov and help Putin. Also: No evidence.
6. FSB broadcasts the sex tape to discredit the opposition party: OK

If you want me to believe your story you need to offer SOME reasonable motive for her to act the way you claim she is acting. Do you think she is literally insane? Should she be seeing psychiatrist? How did she end up at the top of a Political organization if she is actually insane?
But if you insist then you should start with yourself and explain thought process in the head of Sarah Palin, another McCain friend, or Saakashvili, friend of McCain too.

Here's a different story that makes more sense:
1. Pelevina and Kasyanov are dirty politicians opposing the dirty Putin regime.
2. The Putin regime spied on them and found some dirt.
3. The Putin regime exposed that dirt and spun it for maximum effect.
