Why it is so difficult to ridicule Trump

Here's why. Even the most ludicrous confabulations about Trump, such as this one

are mistaken for being real on account of his past behaviour.

It is easy to ridicule Trump. The hard part is for Trump to accept any of it. Trump will deny anything, he could fart in an elevator with no one else in it, and then say it wasn't him. If he makes a mistake, its someone else's folly (covefefe), not his. His supporters will condone anything he does do, even if he says he didn't do it.

His supporters have never in their lives had a fat orange racist President to hide behind. As long as he's President and a racist, they can come out of their holes. Nothing he can do or say will change that dynamic, so they will remain 110% ass-kissing sycophants.

When you have a sick society it creates a lot of sick people and you end up with a sick president.

The president is just a symptom of a sick society that values the wrong things.
