I keep asking, but there seems to be no pejorative for the Ronald McDonald look in hair dye. I know it's late in the day, and the vogue has crested, but I still see it, and worse, the oldsters (my age people) are getting into it. Ladies in their 70s with bright lavender hair? You rock, babe. Or that lime green shade that women of all ages seem to think is cool --after a few weeks, it looks so snotlike that you want to hand them a tissue.
I asked the lady who cut my hair if there was shoptalk for neon hair dyes, and she said they're just called 'fun colors'. My curiosity is idle, but I still think that extreme looks call for shorthand slang. Crayola Head doesn't quite do. Anyone know of any fun terms for the fun colors?
