Why the Constitution is now null and void

Yes he violated his own trade agreement. USMCA. He's an idiot and he's a bag of dog shit.
A little fairness, please. Dog waste can actually be buried in a garden and help lovely flowers grow.
A better analogy is toxic waste or radioactive slag -- the ongoing damage and poisoning of international relations will last for generations.

(I could have put this in the thread about 47, but just because he's the one doing it doesn't mean the problem is specific to him)

He's clearly doing a bunch of illegal things--but he will simply remove anyone who tries to stand up for the law. Laws only mean something if they are enforced and he's not going to enforce any law that limits him.

The Constitution has been null and void since July 16, 1790.

I would also make anyone who wants to run for high office demonstrate that they can complete the game.
I do sincerely think that there should be at least two games anyone in charge of administration and logistics must play, and play well: Factorio, and Dwarf Fortress.

If they cannot pop a hell vein and wall off hell with no more than 3 unhappy citizens of all races including goblins and elves, they cannot be president.

Can't launch a rocket? No Congress for you. Also, fire any CEO that can't launch a rocket.

This would weed out 99.9999% of the pool right up front, and 100% of the current batch of political hopefuls.
No. Edge of the Solar System. 1.0 just requires hanging on long enough to get a solid defense line up and then is simply a matter of doing enough. I actually almost never launched a rocket, once I had enough territory with a turret wall victory was assured and it just became a grind. 2.0, though, quality makes the logistics much more challenging. No chests in space rules out most brute force solutions while a rare rocket launcher means laser turret creeping is trivial against the bugs.

@RVonse -- Are you still playing along? We hope to play a lottery on an over-under of when you come to your senses. I think you really DO have a 100+ IQ and am betting on "before the end of 2026." But I'll lose my bet unless you start reading real news, and try sincerely to attain objectivity.

I hope you will click to alternet.org and glance at the headlines. Read 2 or 3 stories that seem like they might challenge your preconceptions. If you run into a paywall, tell me and I'll try to find an alternate link for you.
Sorry, but alternet.org isn't a good news source. The problem is the lack of quality control. It's a collection of news from sources of varying quality.

The main point to be made though is this. That for the first time in my 67 year life there are corporations thinking twice about how they're going to offshore to other countries while still enjoying US sales.
You still don't understand that most jobs went to machines, not offshore.

All of a sudden the Democrats hate tariffs because it's Trump's idea. They don't stop to realize how important targeted tariffs can be to keeping union jobs. Actually a lot of Democrats (Biden excepted) don't really like the unions very much anymore even though they are the basis of the middle class.
Tariffs are good for keeping union jobs, but bad for everyone else. You get a little benefit, we get a lot of pain. In most cases the American consumer would be better off simply paying you to not work than in paying the higher prices the tariffs cause.

Regardless, a tariff is nothing more than a consumption tax and why not decrease consumption and offset that tax with less other taxes related to income?
Reduce consumption: that's actually lowering your standard of living.

Knowing the condition of our treasury should our government encourage people to consume or produce?

Trump is right but most of you just can't get yourselves to admit it.
You keep seeing that the "facts" you base your opinions on turn out to be fabrications, why don't you see that your position is built on nothing?

A few billion worth just from US farmers.

I wonder, Barbos. How does supplying grain to starving people install favorable government leaders?
Ask Hamas how to curry loyalty to the government by rewarding loyal citizens with international aid.
This is not new.
Tom
HAMAS supplies international aid? Do tell.
Open your eyes!

He's not saying Hamas supplies international aid. He said they use it. Two very different words. Hamas takes most of the aid that enters and sells it to the people. Cash, sex (and that can hardly be considered consensual), participation in the fighting etc.
Actually, Hamas does supply international aid, in a very ugly way.
They collect the aid, then supply it to the GWM.
International community delivering aid to Hamas is indistinguishable from the international community supporting violent Islamic terrorists.
Tom
We are basically quibbling over "international".

The receive international aid. They use it locally, not internationally.

I think that we're quibbling over "supplies".
The international community supplies aid to Hamas. Hamas uses it to maintain their grip on power by supplying it to the most loyal Palestinians.

It is very strongly anti-Trump. That makes it a good set of headlines to try to wake up someone in a pro-Trump news bubble. Of course, many FOREIGN news sources, e.g. Reuters.Com have content not controlled by the Trump-Putin bullshit machine, but it's more subdued. The headlines at Alternet.Org should shock a Trumpist who sincerely seeks truth. RVonse should be motivated to click on some of the stories for the thrill of debunking the "lies" and "fake news," if he can.

We'll see if RVonse takes up the challenge, and what conclusion he reaches. If he can find significant lies, maybe it will wake up some of the anti-Trumpists!!

My rocket launch came at the expense of an acid fuelled weekend and brute forcing through coal liquefaction. Really, my biggest hurdle was getting enough hydrocarbon fluids to make the plastics on those damn advanced circuit boards.

I find it interesting you bring up that "over the hump therefore losing interest to the grind" feeling though...

Most games or even academic pursuits are like that for me: once the "fight" part is over, I end up feeling like tossing it over to an automation and doing something else

Have never been fun of Trump or even Musk. But it does not mean that they can't do something good even if it is by pure chance.
'Chance' isn't good enough. If someone lies half the time (Rump has been shown to lie MOST of the time), he is an unreliable source. HE CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. Thinking you can see any truth in him, is a fool's errand.
So how abut this..let's keep that Obama era thing in place since it's apparently a great deal....but let's let Congess run it...not Elon Musk.
They changed the mission when they changed the name. That's not honest and it's work is not efficient. Kill it.
There have been a number of articles and videos describing that shit. it is also popular topic in online discussion.
"Troll Farms" Thanks, I've referring to them as 'boiler rooms'. The only vids I've seen are from vigilantes. Not insiders.
you don't even understand the product. USAID is about soft power.
Rump (says he) wants to run the US as a business. Chairity is rarely profitable. Only if it's a PR gimmick. USAID is all about PR.
... or are we now in the grip of a 100% lawless fascist coup?
No doubt in my mind. We are in 1939 Germany.
Rump giving the Ukraine to Putin, is like pre-WWII Chamberlan thinking he brokered "Peace in our time".

'Chance' isn't good enough. If someone lies half the time (Rump has been shown to lie MOST of the time)
Half of the time? That would be a huge improvement from previous administration.
And Trump's lies are more of BS variety, different from actual lies ordinary politicians like Biden do.

You swallow and parrot Rump's bullshit, so you CAN NOT be trusted either.

No. You just suckle on it like a hungry baby on a breast.
