Will Trump finally be indicted in Georgia?

The Republican dominated Congress in Georgia is still investigating Willis and trying to get her off of the case. They know that she's good and they also know that it will be close to impossible to get anyone else to take the case, primarily due to the threats they will receive from Trump and his ilk. That's why former governor Roy Barnes turned gown the request to help prosecute Trump.

Georgia appeals court says it will consider Trump’s effort to disqualify DA Fani Willis from election subversion case

The Georgia Court of Appeals will consider an effort by Donald Trump and his co-defendants to disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis from the 2020 election subversion case.

In a brief order Wednesday, the court said it will hear the appeal from Trump and others challenging the ruling from Judge Scott McAfee that allowed Willis to remain on the case.
So essentially, 3 out of the 4 felony cases Trump is facing will be shelved until it is too late. The documents case is basically dead because Judge Cannon simply won't let it proceed. The Supreme Court has another one in their carefully curated "we're not going to lift a finger for months" hands, and Georgia has said "look, the guy who refused to 'find' those votes is not indicative of our hopeless bias."

Fuck.

Georgia court of appeals indefinitely pauses the election subversion conspiracy case against Donald Trump

A Georgia appeals court has halted the election subversion conspiracy case against Donald Trump and several of his co-defendants – a massive victory for the former president seeking to push further legal issues until 2025 if he can’t beat them altogether.

The new order filed on Wednesday from the Georgia Court of Appeals is the latest indication that a trial in the state-level Georgia election subversion case will not occur before the 2024 presidential election. The court said the case will be on hold until a panel of judges rules on whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified.

The appeals court is expected to rule on the disqualification issue by March 2025, though it could issue a ruling sooner. Several sources close to the case have told CNN that the timeline remains very uncertain.
Fuckers

And Fani Willis is running for re-election. No doubt, the Georgia GOP will use this opportunity to drag her through the mud over the next several months, with the goal of electing someone who will simply drop the case(s) altogether. So even if she's not disqualified, the entire Georgia fake electors case will die.

Shitfuckery.

I guess those folks who pleaded guilty early (cheese bro, kraken lady, etc.) are kicking themselves now.

Wrong. She already won her primary, and the general election is very much just a formality in Fulton County.

Are you saying the GA GOP is going to give Ms Willis a pass because they feel they have no chance? I didn’t realize chivalry was still alive in the GOP!

Fanni is bad but Clarence and Sam are cool. Got it. See where this is going. The fascists have it locked down. But watch out for those scary spiders and brown rainbow people.

think of all the years they had to live under the cruel tyranny of an ethics code before they attained their current positions. Haven’t they suffered enough already? They should reap the spoils of all that toiling.
