Helicopter carrying Iran’s hard-line president apparently crashes in foggy, mountainous region
Ebrahim Raisi is known as a hardliner, and is even considered one of the likely successors for "Supreme" Leader Khamenei. Even though the chopper went down several hours ago, the lithobraking site has not been reached due to weather and rugged terrain. So his status, or the status of the foreign minister who was in the same helicopter, remains unknown. It is almost 11 pm in Iran, which will further hinder search and rescue efforts.
Maybe he is with the virgins already ...
