Merged Gaza just launched an unprovoked attack on Israel

To denote when two or more threads have been merged
Israel restricts access to Gaza.
Gazans are still holding kidnapped victims. They launched a missile barrage last month.

They keep the conflict going and pretend that the damage done to their human shields is the fault of Israel.
This is true and you know it.
Tom
Starving the populace to get hostages returned is not working. There is no reason to think it will work. Blaming Hamas for Israel’s choices in an attempt to hide the brutality of Israel’s pointless tactics is ironic virtue signalling.

BTW, Israel broke the ceasefire, which means they are keeping the violence going this time.
What should matter most at this point is that there is pointless suffering that is needlessly happening... and all over a perverse intention to harm. We know Hamas are reprehensible. That doesn't make it right.
So what should be done to free Gaza of Hamas?
While the world is figuring out how to achieve that impossible dream,, are you fine with the current policy of withholding food and medical supplies, so that more children are suffering from acute malnutrition?
I do not wish anyone to suffer malnutrition. But it is Hamas claiming this. We cannot trust anything Hamas says without independent verification. They will say or do anything to further themselves.

In the meantime,
Can you explain your plan for rescuing Gazans Who Don't Matter from the ones who do? I don't see one.
Tom
At the end of this "meantime", there will be no innocents left to rescue innocent civilians, so no plan will be necessary. Of course, that is ethnic cleansing, if not outright genocide, but you seem fine with it.
Nope.
As long as you and the international community keep blaming Israel for defending itself and handwaving the real problem Gazans have, it's just going to get worse.
Withholding food and medical supplies is not defending oneself. Even Israel says it is to get hostages returned. So, even the gov't of Israel is not claiming that withholding food and medical supplies is for defending themselves.

If you want to end the violence and ethnic cleansing, get rid of the Muslim terrorists who run Gaza. That's not just Hamas, that's the Gazans Who Matter. The one's who keep Hamas in power. Also Hamas' international supporters, they are yet more Muslims who don't care about the little people in Gaza.
Tom
You keep babbling the mantra. No one knows how to get rid of the terrorists. Nothing seems to be effectively working. Even destroying the infrastructure, killing thousands of innocents, withholding food and supplies isn't working.
So we, anyone stops fighting, defending ourselves against terrorists? Is that you are saying?

I responded to getting rid of terrorists, not failing to defend oneself. Nothing I wrote could reasonably interpreted to imply that. So no.

By whom? Do you a link or citation? (Al-Jeereza is not independent confirmation)

Please dxo tell us what you would allow Israel to do to get the hostages back and not allow another Oct 7th to occur.
You think Netanyahu gives a crap about the hostages???
He does give a little care since they are Israeli citizens. But probably not as much as you or I would.

How you ever responded to how you would get rid of the terrorists? And do not tell us about the Marine Corp doco. We have already seen that.

Yes, I have. It was in the responses you cited above.

Do you think withholding food and medical supplies will get rid of the terrorists? How long are you willing to engage in such a policy, and how many young children are you willing to irreparably harm or kill via malnutrition and inadequate medical attention?

Meanwhile, the 3 month blockade of food and other essentials continues with the number of children reported to be treated for acute malnutrition rising from 2,000 in February to 3,600 in March.
This is one of those things where we said that this act wouldn't lead to the release of hostages. It has not led to the release of the hostages. Continuing it won't lead to the release of the hostages. So the only reason to do it is to make the people suffer. Because they haven't risen up and attacked the people holding all of the guns.

It is inhumane and unjustifiable.
To the surviving hostages and their families I agree.
So the Gazan people count for nothing, is that it? The end point of your logic means the liquidation of the Gaza people or their forced diaspora. Is that what you favor? Heinous war cries?

From here. And this is only later in the article. The first part deals with the squashing of dissent in the U.S.

But Netanyahu and his administration are openly promising to destroy everything in Gaza and to make life there so miserable that 2 million Palestinians will be forced to flee, and hopes for the return of the remaining hostages being held by Hamas are almost certainly extinguished.

Just this week, Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, said, “Gaza will be completely destroyed,” causing civilians to “leave in large numbers to third countries.”

“This will change the reality, the history of the state of Israel for decades to come,” he continued. “We must invent much more than this, especially politically vis-à-vis the United States, and get those third countries. There is a good discourse that is moving forward with them and it should be much more meaningful.”

Smotrich is not the only member of Netanyahu’s government openly saying stuff like this. In March, The Times of Israel quoted National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir as saying, “Gaza must endure hell. And hell also means bombing all the aid depots that Hamas holds,” as well as halting the supply of electricity and water,

Doing so, he continued, “will cause mass starvation of Hamas terrorists and their supporters in the Gaza Strip and will allow us to return to war with tremendous force, when Hamas terrorists are weak and exhausted, without any significant ability to fight back — and we can crush them without difficulty.”

On Wednesday, Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchenannounced on social media that “[a]fter serving more than 130 million total meals and 26 million loaves of bread over the past 18 months, World Central Kitchen no longer has the supplies to cook meals or bake bread in Gaza.”

It’s been more than two months since Israel announced it would stop all goods and humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.Instead of opposing that, our government is enabling it. The Trump administration has been talking about what country will take in the Palestinians through mass population transfers — a phrase that recalls some of the worst episodes in human history.

All of you Israel supporters are just fine and dandy with this, yeah?

Lemme know when there's information coming from somewhere not under the control of violent Muslim terrorists.
I won't hold my breath.

The first report is from doctors in Gaza. They are all violent Muslim terrorists?

The report is BBC. BBC consists of violent Muslim terrorists?

There is a fucking picture for you, close-up, of a starving child. Is she a violent Muslim terrorist? Or was the picture a product of violent Muslim AI?

The second article is sourced by the World Food Program. A violent Muslim terrorist organization?

Israel has banned international reporters from reporting from Gaza. Why do you think that would be, if they had nothing to hide? The story was reported by a BBC reporter who got in nevertheless — reporters are quite good at getting past restrictions. There are no violent Muslim terrorists here. There is the inescapable fact of unforgivable Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity.
