How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

Regime in Kiev refuses to take 6400 soldier bodies from Russia.
They agreed to that and now they refused. Some say they don't want to take them because they would have to pay ~$2B to families. But apparently that's not really a reason because they never pay anyway.

Meanwhile in Moscow:

What does this have to do with the fact that Putin made a disastrous mistake invading Ukraine.

Russians are still dyeing every day. Prices of potatoes and other food staples going up and supplies going down. Russia loosing large areas of farmland every year due to poor farming practices. A declining population.

Are you not going to refute the the USA and others provided critical aid to Russia in WWII and Russia alone did not defeat Germany?

There is no shame to it. Over here we acknowledge the fact France gave us crucial aid in the revolution. We have towns and streets named after the French officer Lafayette who fought with Washington.

Polish officrs as well who provided training.

No, he did not, ukrainians did.
What it has to do with Ukraine is that now infamous speech Poroshenko made on campaign trail where he promised shitty life (bombing and no electricity) to Eastern Ukrainians. And it is Ukraine who has shitty life with regular bombing and no water/electricity
Life is good in Crimea and even better in Moscow.

Moscow even has bootleg american diners now:

Ukraine kicked out the Putin puppet, reduced corruption, was developing relations with Europe, and had a growing economy independent of Russia. Which Putin could not tolerate.

Years of daily senseless bombing by Putin has made life shitty for Ukraine.

Putin is a malleable human being. You have to go back to Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Tojo, and Mussolini for a modern comparison for senseless human depravity. Pol Pot.

I seriously doubt the war has made life better for Russians. How many dead and crippled Russians, how man grieving parents.

The Russian economy has gone over to war production, that is nit sustainable. When the war ends the economy crashes. Economic boom followed by crash is known histrionically as a cycle during and after a war.

Russia's war effort has a significant impact on its economy, with military spending estimated to account for a considerable portion of the budget. While precise figures vary depending on the source and how military spending is measured, recent estimates suggest that it could exceed 8% of Russia's GDP and about 40% of total federal expenditure. This shift towards a war economy has implications for other sectors, potentially leading to workforce shortages and economic distortions.

Unsustainable mil tray spending is part of what brought down the Soviet Union. Trying to compete with the western alliance.

Canada, USA, and Europe have a problem with too many people who want to move there. Who wants to go to Russia to live and work? Not many. From what I read there are North Koreans working in Russia, but they are not treated well.

Ukrainians invaded Ukraine???
Russia, they invaded Russia.
You invaded them first. Remember the green uniformed soldiers who were obviously Russians without insignias or patches?

See a doctor, Babs. Quickly.
You are the one who needs to see a doctor.
Sure, Jan.

Not according to this guy:

Nope, wrong again.
Ukrainian Nazi regime invaded russian parts of Ukraine and started war with them in 2014

Of course, it is logically impossible for any Ukrainian "regime", regardless of their politics, to invade parts of Ukraine.

It's equally absurd to suggest that such a thing as "russian parts of Ukraine" can exist.

Ukraine has parts which has always been russian.
Eastern Ukraine was attached to Ukraine by Lenin. Crimea by Khrushev.
Odessa, Kharkov and other parts by Tsars.
Western Ukraine was attached by Stalin and it really has nothing in common with the rest of Ukraine, let alone Russian parts. Western Ukraine had been occupied by Austro-Hungary before WW1. Austo-Hungary had a policy of exterminating everything russian and they pretty much succeed.

Do you mean war with the Russians that invaded in 2014?

I certainly remember the "green army men" with identifying symbols removed from their uniforms but were still identified as Russians.

Well, many Americans feared Obama was going to invade Texas. So, it isn't unprecedented nonsense.
