How should west respond to potential (likely) Russian invasion of Ukraine?

18th Century Russia... who mistakes themselves with the great Roman Empire. It really is sad. The Roman's (working off of the Greek's progress) made civilization. They conquered, but then developed, improved, made places better. Russia goes somewhere and just makes it more of Russia.
Total bullshit. It's UK and US mistake themselves with themselves of better times.
US is no longer the hegemon. And UK are laughable in their attempts to cling to the time of their empire.

Russia is merely defending itself against neocon scum, who want to prolong "good" times.

“Why” he asks, “would the US call for a meeting?”
His answer is “ blah blah blah won’t work blah blah blah”
The truth?
IT’S NOT EPSTEIN
That’s all there is to it.

All the maunderings these clowns indulge in mean nothing. Zero. Zip. Nada.
The FACT is that you haven’t heard a peep about Trump’s pedophilia, no mention of Epstein, no “release the files” chants - not one word since Trump announced this meaningless stunt.
It’s working brilliantly because American trumpsuckers are collectively as dumb as a creosote post without the creosote.
What happens to Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens is of no concern to Trump. He’s not being played, he has AGREED to be played. As long as it takes the heat off his perverted pedophilic nature, it’s a big WIN.

PS “The US” didn’t call for a meeting, the fucktard in Chief did.

They haven't even met yet!

And?

I haven't heard what happened yet. We'll see. However, I assume that Putin got the better of Trump. And that Trump is taking "terms" to President Z that wouldn't result in a long term peace for Ukraine. And then I'd assume that Pres Z will reject. And then finally, Trump will understand that no peace is possible with Putin. I hope that I'm wrong...

OK so Putin's asset in the White House is back to saying that Putin should be rewarded by Ukraine giving up territory for Russia to stop its war.

History shows that rewarding a bully is always a bad idea.

Why is Trump so obviously willing to give Putin exactly what he wants?

Well, this isn't a surprise to me (although I think that its Ukraine that needs to decide if they want to trade land for peace, it is their land!). To me, the greater issue is even if Ukraine agrees to these terms; how are they protected from future invasion?

I think you meant “promises”.
Knowing what those are worth, I can’t imagine how badly they have to be hurt to accept it.

Yea, Putin and Russia cannot be trusted. Putin didn't attack Poland because he knew he'd get his ass kicked. He attacked a country that he thought he could easily conquer. Big mistake! But this isn't going to end until Ukraine is strong enough to encourage Russia to not attack!
