Right after you didn't. Right after you said he should make illegal decisions without review.

As if you think these decisions were made without appeal, or for that matter that they should have been released rather than seeing people be prosecuted through normal channels.

For all the court of public opinions can ruin people, we have actual courts with actual evidence that run on things like trials, with due process, and a government that can be used for going outside it, assuming you have a D next to your name.

So no, Biden couldn't legally release it.

Trump can't either for that matter, but with Trump, that doesn't seem to matter.

If the files have Trump's name, why didn't Biden release them? If the files have Clinton's name, why didn't Trump release them?

1 Because Biden isn't Trump.

2 Because Trump is named too

3 Because Trump made the files a big deal and promised to release them. And then didn't.

If Biden was as decent as you claim, he would have released the files.

As Ziprhead pointed out (in post 454, prior to the above response), the court sealed the files during Biden's term. Are you suggesting, as a libertarian, that the POTUS should disobey the courts?

Have you ever heard of "the appeal process"? There's no indication he tried to do anything towards releasing the documents after a court sealed them. Or perhaps releasing them before the court sealed them? Nah, Biden never did anything wrong.

Federal Grand jury proceedings are secret, so it was not legally possible to release them “before” they were sealed.

Since the Trump DOJ’s request to release them transcripts has been denied twice, it is possible the Biden DOJ rightly thought attempting to release them was a waste of time.

Thomas Massie has gathered the 218 signatures in the House to force Trump to release Epstein data.

But then Massie has an R after his name so that must be bad, MAGA, a Trump ally, etc.

Even if, it doesn't mean much, since would still need to go through the Senate and then Trump would have to sign it.



And even if it went through all that, it would still depend on the fine print of what would really be released.

You miss the big picture. Even if it fails in the Senate, even if it passes the senate and gets vetoed ...

Forcing a vote in the House means each and every representative to state Yes or No on releasing the files. On the record.

Republicans are saying the list is full of Democrats, and people here are saying the list is full of Republicans. Both statements are probably true at the same time, so seeing you votes Yes and who votes No will be a bipartisan issue.

Just getting Reps to state their position on the record, even if it goes no farther. Massie has the signatures, he can force the vote when congress comes back into session.

Johnson is currently working hard to prevent the 218th signature for the vote... to reveal the documents that Trump and his group kept saying they wanted to release. They went as far as shifting Epstein's accomplice to a comfy community to get her to say certain things to hope this would go away. If Trump is being truthful about never being on the island, he might have a much larger problem called "human trafficking" as Trump already noted a worker of his was poached by Epstein.

That's not my burden, that's a Republican burden. You bear the Democrat burden. I bear the Libertarian burden. I criticized Trump for not releasing them, and Johnson for keeping congress out of session to avoid a vote in the issue. Find a Republican to defend Trump and Johnson on this.

They don’t have to be. Not all are treated as commodities because they don’t allow it. But a 14 year old? With her mother?

Decent directors and producers treat the actors as human beings, worthy of respect.
