Sidelined Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino lusted for a more heavy-handed approach to immigration months before his foot soldiers started shooting people, a leaked email has revealed.

Bovino, until recently, would swagger through cities with his immigration goon squad in widespread sweeps that would often end in Border Patrol agents getting into ugly scrapes with protesters. This approach resulted in the deaths of protesters at the hands of federal agents, sparking mass protests in some cities, most notably Minneapolis.

Their deaths came after Bovino pushed back against guidance from the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement to stick to “targeted operations,” according to reporting by NBC News. The network obtained an email apparently sent by Bovino to Department of Homeland Security leaders in the capital, where he complained about the acting director of ICE, Todd Lyons.

I'm exhausted fact checking the alleged egregious shit a President has ever said... and find out they actually said it. Yes, it is video, but it could AI doctored video, so I check. I'm at the point of just believing whatever it alleged at this point.

She produced a Real ID driver license. Not enough, could be fake. Birth certificate produced. That was suspicious because why would she have it if she were a citizen. Likely also fake then. He was trying to remove her from the vehicle to detain her until she could prove that the documents weren’t fake. A sheriff deputy that went to high school with her stepped in and vouched for her. ICE said “we’ll get you next time bitch” as she drove off.

ICE break window to enter U.S. citizen's house without warrant—violently tackle man for filming them.

Agents turn to leave and close front door—suddenly barge back in to physically assault homeowner.

"They're inside my house with no warrant—I'm a U.S. citizen!" she tells 911 operator. "He's not an immigrant!"

The adults in the family—who were trying to protect the young children also present in the home—did manage to chase the 2 ICE agents away before they were able detain anyone.

I guess that court order requiring ICE use warrants just went right out that broken window.

They are extremely lucky no one in that home had a pistol handy. A bullet in each ICE officer's head would have been very possible.
