Yet another war, this time with Iran

The bit in brackets says that you don't know what "independent country" means.
No, I actually know what "independent country" means. EU/NATO countries are not independent, they are to a large degree dependent on US.
The global economy has made the world dependent on the world.
That goes without saying. But I was talking about the fact that führers of "independent" EU "countries are not really elected in free elections but assigned by mostly american capital.

This is because of NATO/US and their instigation of unrest in Ukraine. No harm to NATO/US countries, Ukraine stands destroyed, Russia too looses. They don't care about Ukraine and delight in problems that Russia is made to face. That is exactly what NATO/US wanted
Exactly. They never even wanted Ukraine in EU. It's been 12 years and EU says that Ukraine can forget about entering EU in the next 10 years if ever. The whole thing was devised to have a proxy war with Russia. Elensky own advisers said so before the war. I repeat they said that before (!!!) the war!
It was not a secret to anybody in Ukraine or Russia.
Ukraine knew Russia had hostile intentions. Anticipating war doesn't mean wanting war.

Where are you getting your information? Its conspiracy theory nonsense. Its the stuff Putins propaganda machine is trying to spread. But that doesn't explain how he managed to convince you. How come you believe this?
I read between the lines.

I don't believe you. Reading between the lines just means fantasizing about what they really mean. So random nonsense. But you don't believe random nonsense. You are specifically aping Putin propaganda. Spread by neo-con youtubers. My brother has unfortunately fallen for the same nonsense. A very intelligent man, in other regards. In his case he's a conservative, who just thinks this woke nonsense has gone too far, which has led him down some questionable internet alleys.
Reading between the lines is a real thing--you can often discern things by what is not said.

But I agree this is just a case of falling for propaganda. The reality is if you don't have an understanding of how propaganda works and actively look for what's wrong most people will fall for it. You have to hunt for the unsupported jumps or you won't notice them.

On computer, I use Google News. I am not far right, but some what. For rights are not strong atheists.
It's mostly garbage these days. Clickbait and AI hallucination. (The AI stuff usually ends up saying the opposite of it's headline.)

Oh, I see. So it's the Indian newspapers and television that get their information from Russian propaganda.

Makes sense. The Western tabloids and cable channels do that too.
No national daily in India has Russian propaganda. They are as independent as myself. Furthermore, I said "I filter the news." I take the understanding of the news according to my view.
I do not read any tabloids. And as for the channels, I know which channel inclines towards what views.
On the whole, I am a Modi follower. Nationalist Right. :D
.
Bold: This seems backwards to me. I'd like to think objective news shapes my views. By filtering you seem to indicate you discard what does not fit with yours.
Yeah, that's how to go down the rabbit hole. More informative is to look at the apparently-credible articles that appear to disagree, see if they have anything to them.

It is not opinion. For many decades Israel has been pushing Palestinians off their land for Jewish statements. Slow motion ethnic cleansing.
For many decades there has been an awful lot more claiming than doing.
Netanyahu a Zionist said it on camera. Jews have a god given right to the land that was Israel 2000 years ago and can do what they will with it.

Unaware why they think like they do?
Wikipedia is not remotely a reliable source on hot-button issues such as this. It ends up being a vote as to what's true. While I have never seen truly false statements I have seen major cherry-picking and reliance on sources that lack credibility. (The standard unethical journalist dodge: X said that Y said Z. Or did instead of said. Unless the X said is the focus figure that means they don't have evidence of the core claim.)
As In have said to you before, educate yourself on history that led to where we are today. Start in the 19th caentu8ry. Work your way through the British Mandate. Jews used terrorist tactics. Bombings.
Somewhat, but note that the attack that keeps being cited was an attack on British military HQ. Clearly a legitimate target. If that's their best example of wrong then I don't think there was that much wrong.

Israel participation in the European - Egyptian war.
Egypt blockaded Israeli ports.

And that was back when the countries around served as bases for cross-border raids into Israel. Quasi-war.

It is pretty obvious to all that Trump cannot conduct further strikes on Iran.
Of course he can, and he should. The pain of increased oil prices will be temporary, but failing in Iran now due to Trump chickening out will only lead to more emboldened theocratic regime.
I don't think The Felon has the slightest notion of how to force Iran into submission.

And I strongly suspect it's not actually possible without accepting that you take Iran off the world's oil market. Until the world is willing to face the result will be the path of appeasement.

Israel bombarded Gaza for over a year with bombs and targeted attacks and Hamas is still around.
Russia has been bombing Ukraine for four years and Ukraine is still not Russia as of yet and Russia has troops in Ukraine.

You think a few more bombs will do fuck all in Iran?! To overthrow the theocracy, you need two million or so troops in Iran and an uncomfortable number of body bags and Trump / Hegseth autopen signed 'sorry you loved one died' letters.

As far as "pain" from oil prices... we are heading towards a fuel shortage. You shat your pants over 'Biden spending' causing modest inflation? Can't wait till you see your reaction to stagflation.
Neither Ukraine nor Gaza has a heavy industrial base, they are being armed from outside. You can't beat such an opponent.

Iran is building it's own stuff. We could smash it, but that takes a lot of smashing. But while we try to defeat them militarily while not smashing them there's no path to victory.

You are unbearable. Arestovich is on record saying "War with Russia might be the price for EU membership"
Yes, he knew EU had hostile intentions. After all, he had the example of Georgia before him.

You've repeated the Hamas false narrative many times.
Repeating an accusation when asked to back it up isn't supporting said allegation. Rather it is being a broken record.

I'd ask you to support your claim again, but I already know you can't actually cite me "repeating" "Hamas false narratives".
I'm thinking of things like the supposed famine.

I do not think Russia had any such intention before removal of Yuschenko. NATO knew that, and that is why they created unrest in Ukraine.
But I agree this is just a case of falling for propaganda.
Again, I do not think so.

That is not my experience. DuckAssist and GPT-5 give me just the information that I need. I am happy with them. I never register for GPT, registration is necessary for Duckduckgo. Tor is a bit beyond my range. I do not need that kind of security.

Whether the articles agree or differ, it is still your decision to accept a view. If one depends only on disagreeing articles, that is succumbing to propaganda.

That is not citing JH (or anyone for that matter) posting about a famine - supposed or actual.

Not that it is important but you keep confusing Yuschenko with Yanukovych.
They both start with Y in english translition but it's really a diffierennt vowel sound.
Yuschenko was the first real nazi president of Ukraine.

Sorry, I stand corrected.
