How should west respond to Russian invasion of Ukraine?

How is defense production going for Ukraine?
There is a Danish model that ensures a steady flow of capital so Ukrainian defense manufactures can expand production and be assured of financing. There has been a large gap between what the Ukrainian defense industry can produce and the funding the Ukrainian government could supply. The Danish model of direct to manufacturer, steady funding of long term orders closed this gap.
The Ukrainian defense industry is part of the European defense industry. There are strong supply lines between companies. There is sharing of knowledge and technology. Joint production between companies is established. From a defense production standpoint, Ukraine has become one with the EU.

Russia continues to lose over a thousand troops per day in Ukraine. The average this year is over 1,000 per. More recent numbers have been 1,300-1,500.

Also Ukraine's upscaling of mid-range strikes on Russian supply lines continue to make news. They are expanding this capability to the entire frontline, stopping supplies, munitions, and troop rotations, so says ISW. This comes from Russian milbloggers screaming at their government to do more. I assume they exaggerate for effect.
But if this is working as well as I hope, we should see at least a partial collapse in Russia's frontline somewhere, I would think. Or perhaps fortifications are so well established that even a small number of soldiers can at least hold the line.

Much of this news comes from United24 which I am rather new to and still verifying their articles.
Also, a note about ISW as a source: I notice often in their footnotes their references for many of their claims are previous ISW claims. I'm not comfortable with this.

That's a lie. I know, for a fact, why it's a lie.
I went to a local cemetery and counted all the soldiers graves (They are easily identifiable). And then extrapolate to the rest of the country. And my number is consistent with western supported agency called Mediazona. Russian dead count is ~250K soldiers. Some other agency used Mediazona methodology for Ukraine and they came out with ~1mil.

And this is actually very interesting, I noticed it early on. Ukrainian regime has a habit of simply counting their losses and then reporting as russian losses. So what they actually say is that their losses are ~1000 a day.

I recently saw a discussion of disparity in body echange ratio Ukrainian propagandist had.
I mean it's an accepted fact that in all these exchanges Ukraine has gigantic disparity, like 1000 to 20.
And official explanation of ukro-side is that Russian army is advancing and hence collects all the bodies.
(note that this is inconsistent with they claims of stalemate)
But someone pointed out that during famous 2022 counteroffensive ratio while was not so lopsided but still was not in favor in Ukro-army.
In reality, of course, that "couner-offensive" was not any of that sort.
Russian forces were outnumbered and physically couldn't hold the places which they occupied so decision was to retreat orderly. At the same time they bombed the shit out of advancing ukro-idiots. Main reason why ratio is so ridiculous is because ukro-army was ordered to not collect their fallen soldiers because it causes statistics to look bad. Russian army, at the same time, collects all the bodies regardless of the circumstances. The end result we have 1000 to 20 exchange ratio.

I repeat again, regime in Kiev accepted the fact of 1000 to 20 exchange ratio.

I like Medvedev over Putin more and more. He speaks his mind.
Putin keeps pretending that he can deal with the current crop of western scum.
It's always been his style but it is not helpful anymore.

It's quite remarkable that the Russian propganda machine has been able to convince an entire population that it's invasion is morally justified; that they are fighting mostly nato troops; that after 5 years they continue to win battle after battle; that their enemy are all Nazis who wish to invade Russia if they are not conquered; and that they are beating the Ukraine/Nato troops by a factor of 1000 to 20!

Ukraine is using Palantir's PRISM software to identify gaps in Russia's air defenses for its long range strikes.
Say what you will about Trump but export of US defense tech doesn't happens without his permission.

Yea, the Trump administration has been so hard to figure out regarding Russia vs Ukraine. Obviously, the flow of arms has been hot and cold since Trump. I heard that Trump (and Vance who has been historically anti-Ukrainian) are pushing to move soviet made arms currently in Venezuela to Ukraine. That would be awesome. The Ukrainians are more used to using soviet arms anyway.

Russsian propaganda has very little to do with it and actually quite terrible.
It's actually actions of western governments and media who convinced the russians that you are utter scum.
Let me illustrate. I remember reading news around 2010-2012 (16 years ago) and there was an interview with Georgian politician (Nino Burjanadze) who was right hand of Saakashvili, she later went into opposition to that madman. Anyway, she was describing how americans were behaving around Rose Revolution (2003, 23 years ago when Putin was fresh president of Russia). She described it as following:
Americans (State Department) would come with bags of money and ask for people who hate Russia and hand them these bags of money for political activities. And before you go start demanding links and evidence I don't give a flying fuck what you want or believe. I am explaining how I and 150 millions of russians formed their opinion on the actions of the West.
You are utter scum.

About Russian Propaganda. I don't watch russian TV channels at all, I don't even have TV.
In fact, I stopped watching russian/sovied TV at the age of 16 when I moved out of the house.
So most of my TV watching mileage is american based.

Now, I occasionally get to see samples of Russian TV propaganda on Youtube and such and some of these TV people are pretty obnoxious, Soloviev in particular. Very simplistic and bombastic, targeting the lower 20% of population I would say.
Maybe it's intentional because most of the population understand what's going on and don't need any help.

Okay, you are making it very difficult to keep my personal pledge to point out the falsehoods and contradions that you have to post. There is a different between offensive missiles and air defense assets
Fuck! I merely pointed out your past bullshits.
Russia can no longer defend critical targets from Ukrainian drones and missiles
Says who?! The same people who claimed that Russia had run out of "offensive" missiles in March of 2024?

95% of ukrainian drones do not reach their intended targets.
In fact, the reason why assholes started to hit distant target is because targets that are close to the border are well protected. Do you fucking understand this? It is Ukraine who is running out of easy targets.
And distant targets require more fuel to reach and hence less explosive payload.
Success of ukrainian regime are mostly fiction designed to keep degenerates going in this proxy war until something happens.
"Running out of easy targets" is not a good thing for Russians. I'm sure when people of Moscow hear air raid sirens and explosions, they look to the night sky and say, "Ukraine must have run out of easy targets."

Right now I'm imagining the look on your face when the official response to air raids on Moscow was handed out. Maybe you looked at the commissar and said, "But, all the easy targets are destroyed." To which he answered , "Dah. What does it matter why there are no more easy targets? Are you looking of a reassignment?"

Seriously, don't rock the boat. Stay in your basement.

Kiev regime and NATO launch hundreds of long range drones and usually there are 3-4 hits with any kind of damage reported.
so Air Defense is working I would say.
Long range drones Kiev use are cheap and rely on cheap GPS receivers which are jammed in Moscow pretty much everywhere. NATO could order Musk to let them use StarLink but that would mean that Russia starts destroying StarLink. Reportedly they can literally burn the electronics.
I think NATO scumbags are expecting relying on onboard AI targeting in the future.

Meanwhile in real news which do not get reported to western cretins is another Nazi scandal in Poland-Kiev relations. Elensky took part in moving remnants of WW2 ukro-nazi to another grave and Poland is predictably unhappy. Some express threats to stop transit or NATO weapons to attack Russia.
Valensa is not happy too.
Apparently poles are serious and demand explanation and apologies from NarcoFuhrer.
and that ceremony is not even the main reason. Elensky apprarently awarded some of his military unit a "honorary" nazi designation of UPA which did not go well with poles. Elensky is a complete idiot.
And Putin loading up on popcorn.

If Russia could, Russia would do a lot of things. Unfortunately for Russia, that gets less day by day. It doesn't matter how many drones are shot down because the rest are hitting military targets and Russia gets weaker with each explosion.

Cheap GPS revievers are burning Russian refineries, so it's plain to see the air defense is inadequate for the task.

Say what you like about the lost refineries, but a nation don't ration gasoline to 20 liters a week unless there's a shortage.
