Why wouldn't they be? The UK is outside the EU, so it's in the French interest to help any people they don't want in the EU to go to the UK.

Brexit is the cause of this particular "problem"; I hope the gammons are very happy with the gunshot wound they now have in their foot.

Four people died trying to cross the Channel overnight after the busiest day for small-boat crossings so far this year saw 752 arrivals in the UK. One man died after a vessel capsized off France's northern coast late on Wednesday, local officials said, with a one-year-old child among those hurt. Seven hours later, three people were found dead aboard a small boat after launching from Dunkirk overnight, some 100km (62 miles) up the coast. French officials confirmed their deaths as the Home Office reported that Wednesday saw the highest number of crossings in a single day this year, with nine boats reaching the UK. Local officials said the vessel was a "taxi" boat - which cruise along the coast and pick up their paying customers who are waiting in the sea. Last week, a record 165 migrants arrived in a single boat.

Your assumption that I must somehow share your fears, even after I explicitly told you that I consider them irrational, is irrationality squared. And absent that assumption, your response is utter absurdity.

The world is chock-a-block full of people who are culturally different from me. I will never interact with the vast majority of them. And which side of an arbitrary line on a map they happen to be when I don't interact with them will have basically zero impact on me.

Conversely, you could deport or kill everyone except those who share a cultural heritage with me (however you want to define that), so that I never even see anyone who looks different or talks funny; And yet, I would still discover that the majority of the folks I interact with are utter cunts.

"They" are no more scary than "us"; And "us" turn out to be just as unpleasant to live with as "they" are.

I think it is nearer 6% (and growing) but this small percent is responsible for just about all of the terrorism in England such as the Manchester Arena bombing that killed 22 people, the beheading of Lee Rigby and lots of stabbing sprees and as mentioned previously, almost all people on the MI5 terrorist watch list are followers of teh islam.

And the muslim population is concentrated enough in some English towns that their presence is really starting to be felt in politics and in the streets. Their population doesn't have to grow too much larger before the effects in politics will really start to be seen.

Being scared of terrorists, while being unafraid when crossing the street, is irrational; Anyone in England is FAR more likely to be killed in a road traffic incident than by terrorist action.

Your ongoing effort to spread your cartoonish and irrational fear to me is futile. I refuse to be terrified by terrorists - which is both a rational response, and the most effective way to oppose their nefarious goals.

Why you choose to support the terrorist cause by advocating for fear and alarm is beyond me; You certainly don't give the impression that you share their objectives, so why do you so vigorously assist with their methods?

There is a threat to British democracy, and it has FAR more support than any Islamic policies do - which is what makes it an actual threat. It is currently calling itself "Reform", having changed its name each time people realise what it is, and turn away from it. It was previously known variously as "UKIP", the "British National Party", and even the "British Union of Fascists", back before WWII when "fascist" was just a political ideology, and not yet an insult.
