Noah’s Ark Found!!

Some trivia on visualization.

In a bio of Einstein I read he credited an uncle with teaching him how to visualize. He would visualize what it would be like to be traveling mext to a photon.

Maxwell's demon is a thought experiment that appears to disprove the second law of thermodynamics. It was proposed by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell in 1867.[1] In his first letter, Maxwell referred to the entity as a "finite being" or a "being who can play a game of skill with the molecules". Lord Kelvin would later call it a "demon".[2]

From Christian views we are essentially a cartoon animation for a wacky god who can change the cartoon reality at his whim. Bugs Bunny can defy gravity when the story requires it.

Learner, the problem with the waterfall picture is that it is perpetual motion machine, it can not be physically constructed. I(t is a well knnown work. The point is truth of visual perception and imagination is always bounded by physical reality.

Noah's Ark does not comport with known physical reaity. Your only recourse is to clam divine intervention, like god of the gaps.

"God of the gaps" is a theological concept that emerged in the 19th century, and revolves around the idea that certain gaps in scientific understanding are regarded as indications of the existence of God.[1][2] This perspective has its origins in the observation that some individuals, often with religious inclinations, point to areas where science falls short in explaining natural phenomena as opportunities to insert the presence of a divine creator. The term itself was coined in response to this tendency. This theological view suggests that God fills in the gaps left by scientific knowledge, and that these gaps represent moments of divine intervention or influence.

We can't explain where all the water came from, but god did it.

Simple dimple basic reasoning to propose from 71 % water still covering the earth is still a flood, or a reduction of what was left of a global flood. But... I believe the bible for all sorts of reasons. Spatial reasoning is but one aspect to reinforcing my belief and perspective of the bible and the world.
What was left of flood? Where did all the rest of the water go? Simple spatial reasoning tells that if you have a certain amount of water in a bucket, the level of the water in the bucket won't change. It won't overflow unless you add more water. A global flood would require adding something in the region of three times as much water as there is currently in the oceans. Where did that water come from? And once you have added the water, the bucket won't suddenly be emptier unless you remove some of the water. Where it went? And all this without leaving a trace on the surface of the earth?

Why would anyone try to reconcile the water/land ratio with reasoning when the story's main character is SIX HUNDRED GODDAMN YEARS OLD??? That doesn't suggest to you that perhaps the events are fictional?
Premature poo pooing like pood are we?

I did say you don't need the bible to use that particular reasoning looking at the significance of the ratios. Again..the obsession to oppose the bible just hinders you. Eventually making one look daft.

Meanwhile keep consoling and encouraging each other, as you do ..since your "intellectual " come backs requires a lot more than spatial reasoning for me to be offended by it, or look small.

Now we are having a conversation.. get back to you. I m back to work.

Looking at the rations tells that there is only enough water on this planet to raise sea level to what it is.

You could have chosen to use "multivariable differential calculus" instead of "spatial reasoning" and your post would have made just as much sense.

As with most of your posts, this post makes no sense whatsoever. What are you trying to say?

My favorite part of the story is how Creationists can't even explain where the floodwaters came from.

It's not kneejerk opposition. It's the grownup realization that this earth never produced humans who reached age 600 or 969 years of age. It's absurd to read such tales and suppose them to be true. 'Daft' is saying that whatever outre narratives people compiled into a scripture twenty centuries ago must be true.

B-b-but GOD SAID!
Some people NEVER learn.
A few even take prophylactic steps against the exposure of their unwillingness to learn, like adopting a dishonest screen name to imply an objectivity they never possessed.

To be honest, that the story got some geezer's age wrong is not the biggest problem it has,

You were a little irritated by the post? Ok' I read ya.'

Probably everyone around him, assuming he existed, regarded him as such a stupid prick that it just felt like he had been around for 600 years or whatever.

I think it was more like he was the kind of alky who looks way older than he is. Kids probably saw him sitting in front of his house, slurring his prayers, puking, and knocking back hits of hooch.
First Kid: Jesus, look at that guy. How old is he?
Second Kid: Fuck knows. Looks like he's 600!!

Magic. I believe that God belief is belief in magic.

Once you believe in magic anything is possible.

Not enough water you say when a large 71% of the earth is already covered?. How much more water makes it unfathomable to you for the rest of the earth to be covered? That's pretty much a world flood ...almost.

Simple common sense from spatial relationships between the large earth mass and all the oceans. Water covering the earth is but a thin film layer compared to the gargantuan size of the earths mass. By the simple deduction ...not really a lot more water would be needed to cover the whole earth when these are compared....a very easy to understand mode of awareness.

It would make more sense if certain individuals can stop thinking of biblical miracles. But they need it to debate with.lol the irony

Well, to be fair, Noah lived, allegedly, long before Jesus.

The kid might have said something like, “Zeus, look at that guy! How old is he?”
