President Trump on verge of death! ... well... I have to assume.

He's probably on half a dozen meds to regulate his circulation and compensate for his Eskimo Pie/Big Mac diet. With today's maintenance meds, and his family medical history of reaching advanced old age, he could predictably function for the next 26 months (that is, the remainder of the Golden Age of MAGAworld.)
In any case, he's been making bewildering, dumbass remarks for his entire political career, including rambling, nonsense, mispronunciations galore, obscenities, bizarre sexual comments about such things as other men's "asses" and genitals, and plenty of crazy sound effects (bing bing bong et al.)

The shittiest people with power seem to live forever. Cheney should've been dead in 2007, but hung on for another two decades. At this rate, Trump should be looking forward to Y2kV2: They Forgot to Change to Change the Clocks Again!

Maybe Trump is at death’s door. Maybe he’s even on the other side of it. But it matters not at all. The damage is done.
From FB, Scott Cornet & Steve Schmidt:

“I truly believe that history will show Mr. Schmidt to be absolutely correct. Over the weekend, Republican Steve Schmidt, who ran John McCain's 2008 campaign for president, was interviewed on MSNBC.
In response to a very general question regarding the Trump Presidency, Mr. Schmidt spoke for two solid minutes and gave the most insightful and brutally honest response of what the Trump Presidency has done to our great country.:
“Donald Trump has been the worst president this country has ever had. And, I don't say that hyperbolically. He is. But he is a consequential president. And, he has brought this country in three short years to a place of weakness that is simply unimaginable if you were pondering where we are today from the day where Barack Obama left office. And, there were a lot of us on that day who were deeply skeptical and very worried about what a Trump presidency would be. But this is a moment of unparalleled national humiliation, of weakness.”
"When you listen to the President, these are the musings of an imbecile. An idiot. And I don't use those words to name call. I use them because they are the precise words of the English language to describe his behavior. His comportment. His actions. We've never seen a level of incompetence, a level of ineptitude so staggering on a daily basis by anybody in the history of the country who’s ever been charged with substantial responsibilities.”
"It's just astonishing that this man is president of the United States. The man, the con man, from New York City. Many bankruptcies, failed businesses, a reality show, that branded him as something that he never was. A successful businessman. Well, he's the President of the United States now, and the man who said he would make the country great again. And he's brought death, suffering, and economic collapse on truly an epic scale."
"And, let's be clear. This isn't happening in every country around the world. This place. Our place. Our home. Our country. The United States. We are the epicenter. We are the place where you're the most likely to die from this disease. We're the ones with the most shattered economy. And we are, because of the fool that sits in the Oval Office behind the Resolute Desk.”

And every nation knew, knew when Trump did well against Biden that the American voter could no longer be trusted to do the right thing. Knew that our legislators would not step up and do the right thing. Regardless of who becomes president in 2028 or '32 for that matter, our allies can't not take the chance relying on the United States any longer. And this makes the world a much more dangerous place. The US may have unjustly been footing the military bill to maintain stability but one world cop had it's advantages.
And the sad part is, Vance is worse. The best we can hope for in Vance is that our current shitstain of president in part rubs off on him. That Vance is forever associated with Trump and his political career is over in 2029.

From FB, Scott Cornet & Steve Schmidt:
I don't disagree with anything Schmidt is saying, but it's worth pointing out you can make the argument that people like him paved the way for a Trump Presidency. He's the sole reason I know who the fuck Sarah Palin is when I really shouldn't.
Need to add a LIKE X100 for this post. Schmidt opened one of Pandora's boxes in what was almost certainly going to be a losing attempt at the White House due to 8 years of W and Neocon bullshit.

These things are well worth pointing out. They put the exclamation point on the fact that these things are being said by “a guy like that”.

Whatever the case, we're going to find out in a few days whether our elections are still legitimate. The Shitgibbon has been on the campaign trail trumpeting that any Republican losses are going to be the product of fraud.

The GOP's support of him and the refusal to hold him accountable is outrageous, but it's no different than anything they've done for the past 50 years or so, but this time the impact cannot be undone unless everything course corrects for the next thirty years. My crazy guess is that everything is not going to course correct for 30 years.

I think Dems have done the work to harden the ground for the election. The ‘Pugs will take measures to interfere but I think Dems’ countermeasures will prevail in that battle.
I am FAR more concerned about the impending Jan3 insurrection attempt.

Yes, if you believe that Obama is the reason we got Trump. I'm not talking about Trump getting insulted at a dinner by Obama's joke at his expense, although I am certain if he could, Obama would go back in time and not make that remark.

Trump 1.0 revealed the sick underbelly of our nation that I believed no longer existed. I truly did think that level of racism existed only in the area where I grew up, prior to Trump. I was very very naive.

Trump 2.0 confirmed the racism and the sexism that permeate this country.

There are a few things the election may or may not let us know of.
1) whether elections matter at all. This should be stupid conspiracy theory crap, but Trump has laid the groundwork for lawsuits in multiple states to at the very least delay seating representatives/Senator(s).
2) is the right-wing so polarized, there is no resolving it. The right-wing isn't happy with the state of America with sticky inflation (some Trump's fault, some AI, some more Trump's fault), price increases, data centers (red states have no where else to point to for these), and gasoline/diesel. But they are struggling with voting for Democrats because of all the propaganda. This election could be the rebirth of the Blue Dog Democrat, and other than Florida and Michigan, we are seeing moderate Democrats in NE, SC, TX, KS, OH, IA taking this down to the wire, and pretty much assured victory in GA and NC.
3) did the gerrymandering backfire on the GOP.

Won't know until we know. While the Dems could crush the GOP in the midterms, they will be limited in what they can do and 2027 would be a very uncertain year. As would the remainder of 2026 with SCOTUS justice Thomas and Alito.

Indeed, the GOP is barely doing a thing to stop anything Trump has done. They are complicit.

If - IF Democrats are seated on January 3, they will be able to serve, at the very least, as a major stick in the spokes of the Repugs’ bicycle.
The ‘Pugs know this. And that is why it would be a stupid mistake to NOT expect everything J6 had to offer in ‘21, and probably much more. I don’t think they will be able to assemble quite as large a violent mob again, but in-house subterfuge will rule the day if it is not prophylactically addressed.

Maybe The Felon will do one thing right for a change, and croak before then.

I hope he goes like Elvis. Crapping out on the toilet.

I want Trump's natural death to be very painful and very frightening. It should not be too quick. It should last at least 2 weeks and he should be in agony and in severe terror for most of it.

If the elections are rigged why is he trying to buy people’s votes (e.g., $5k checks if Republicans win)? It’s almost as if he thinks their votes count. 🤷

I couldn't agree more!!!!!

It can and probably has been rigged but subtly and in specific areas. If too many people turn out, I don't believe they can get away with it (as it would be too obvious).
