The variation between Christianity and Islam is not substantively greater than the variation within Christianity.

Sure sure, that whole mohammed versus jesus thing is totally not an important distinction at all. I mean, it's not like there are ENTIRE BOOKS about one that never reference the other, right?

And of course, within Christianity there are not ENTIRE BOOKS about the Latter Day Saints that other parts of Christianity don't mention at all, right?
