Surprise, surprise! "Mattress Girl" was (very likely) not raped after all.

Remember Emma "Mattress Girl" Sulkowicz? The Columbia U student who claimed she was raped but which could not be substantiated by either the real police nor the college tribunals that require very low burden or proof and tend to be biased in favor of the feminist narrative.
She then proceeded to haul a thin mattress around campus (for which she is receiving college credit - take that "film appreciation" type courses!) and the man she accused became ostracized based only on an unsubstantiated allegation. Now he is suing the university and details that are coming to light make Emma's story even more shaky.
Student Accused of Rape By 'Mattress Girl' Sues Columbia U., Publishes Dozens of Damning Texts
Reason Magazine said:
Now there are more reasons. Many more. The lawsuit contains additional correspondence unreported thus far—much of it crude, although relevant to the incident. Sulkowicz broached several sexual topics with Nungesser: she talked to him about whether her boyfriend was using protection (with her, and with the other women he was sleeping with at the time), she asked Nungesser whether he was dating or sleeping with anyone, and she implied an interest in anal sex (she texted him “fuck me in the butt”). After Nungesser and Sulkowicz began sleeping together, the lawsuit asserts that Sulkowicz “asked Paul to engage in anal sex with her.”

None of that proves one way or another whether Sulkowicz consented to sex on the evening that he allegedly raped her, of course. It’s possible that Sulkowicz withdrew her consent and Nungesser continued—in brutal, violent fashion. But taken together, the messages she continued to send him even after he allegedly attacked her—as well as some of her demonstrably false assertions, including that she never brought up anal sex with him—certainly look bad for her.

We need to end the campus culture of witch hunts based on unsubstantiated allegations of rape.
But what will SJWs and "rape culture" crusaders like Kristen Gillebrand do now that their shiny new "victim" is going the way of Jackie Coakley, Crystal Magnum and OG Tawana Brawley?

Surprise surprise. Another hobby horse thread.

Surprise surprise, Derec accusing a woman of lying.

Being unable to prove a rape is not the same thing as her lying about it.

Since Columbia U. cleared him of the accusations, I find his claims rather puzzling. Short of executing his accuser, just how was Columbia supposed to shut her up?

We know she lied about not having suggested anal sex to the guy. We know the chances of her having been raped are infinetesimal. And we know all that will not deter many on here from defending her regardless. You lot have defended Jackie Coakley for a long time too.

I think the sticking point is giving her course credit for her mattress stunt and him being excluded from certain campus activities because of her (very dubious) accusations. But I think she personally should have been sued as well.

Surprise, surprise, Ford responding first. :)
Not any more "hobby horse" than all the people who like to defend false rape accusers.

Not just her. There are 2 other female students who have accused him of sexual assault. His appearance before the disciplinary board with Emma Sulkowicz was his second time answering to an accusation of sexual misconduct. And according to the website Jezebel, not only is there another accuser, this time a gay male student, but there's a heck of a lot more to that story than what's contained in that Reason article.

Serious question:

Is there an email list or website you subscribe to that sends the latest "false rape claim" news to your inbox?

Because it appears you've got a pipeline to tales of men being wronged by (most often black) women. Is there a he-man woman-hater's club that funnels this stuff to you so that you can post it here with sufficient outrage?

Mattressgirl looks black to you?

"We" know no such thing.

I will repeat, being unable to prove that she was raped is not the same thing as her lying about being raped.

Well she's clearly a non-white woman, so that's two strikes against her in <edited>.

This is more than her being "unable to prove she was raped". We know she lied about not suggesting anal sex. We know she communicated on friendly terms with the accused after the alleged "rape".
And yet the usual suspects still cling to discredited rape claims.

Yes, Derec. We know you think all rape claims are false.

Again...where do you get these updates from? Is there a subscription service?

I'm asking because science.

Wrong. Try again.

Well a significant portion of your posts are about false rape claims.

Again...what's the service you get this information from?

p.s. I'm going to keep asking this question until you answer.

A couple years ago, the gamers on my favorite server started using the phrase "well, fuck me running!" to express surprise or humorous disbelief. Sometimes they shortened it to just "Fuck me!" So I'd really, really like to see the whole quote, with a date and in context, because I suspect she wasn't actually telling him to fuck her in the butt right before he fucked her in the butt.

Well, fuck me sideways!

Shit the bed!

Fuck all!

I hope no one is taking me literally.

Did you already have a sexual relationship with these gamers (which obviously alters the context of sexual requests)? Did you follow up by asking if they missed your "lopsided ass"?

What I think happened is that Mattressgirl was more into Paul than he was into her (one of her post-"rape" messages reads “I love you Paul. Where are you?!?!?!?!”). When he didn't reciprocate her love turned to hatred, she falsely accused him of rape and started carrying the mattress around. As it says in that poem
Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned,
nor hell a fury like a woman scorned.

P.S.: Do you guys still think "Mattressgirl" is insulting? Should I start referring to her as "Lopsided Ass Girl" instead? ;)
