Today on "Wow, they truly have lost their minds!" we bring you to a poll that came out over the weekend.

Seven in 10 Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters say Trump could win in November 2016 if he is nominated, and that's the most who say so of any candidate. By comparison, 6 in 10 say the same for retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who, like Trump, has tapped into the powerful wave of antiestablishment anger defining the early phases of the 2016 contest.

Yes, nearly 75% of those polled think that Donald Trump can win enough women and Hispanic voters to take the 2016 election. The guy who mocked a Fox News moderator's menstruation, will win enough women to take the White House.

The poll gets a little wonkier.

Their negatives are even more pronounced among the broader electorate. The AP-GfK poll found Trump is viewed unfavorably by 57 percent of those surveyed, the highest negatives of any Republican candidate.

So even Republicans who don't have a favorable view of Trump, think he is electable.

Granted, a Republican has only won the plurality vote once since 1988, so maybe they forget what being electable means for a Presidential election.

No, in 2016 they lost because they got taken in by a fake right winger who only pretended to support their issues for the sake of self-promotion and who had an incredible amount of personal baggage which derailed his campaign. I thought like you think about Trump about Richard Nixon... You need to take a longer view of this matter. We do not need Trump at the head of any ticket thank you. My point is we don't actually know how fucked up this country is and how likely it is that a true loose cannon can attain the office of the President. After Nixon lost the Calif. Governors's race he declared, "You won't have Nixon to kick around anymore." So years later, he was president and caused more casualties in Vietnam than Johnson did.
