The rigor mortis is setting in the Republican Party

And if he is nominated, just take that as a reason to volunteer with the democrats. We always need people to knock on doors, make phone calls, deliver signs, and generally help out

Trump looks like he has a lot of support now because all that is really being looked at is his popularity compared to a few really bad Republican candidates.

But if the Democrat does not have a message that people both believe and respond to, Trump could win simply because we have a two party duopoly, artificially constructed through collusion with the press and the parties.

The press are by-and-large huge sycophants to power.

They are 99% useless.

What is scary is that Trump and a crazy retired surgeon who is mentally still in the 1950s are the best the GOP can come up with.

It isn't. The problem is a lot of people who vote Republican think they are exactly was America needs to make it great again.

Ya, I hate the way that the problems with the GOP candidates is all a Democratic conspiracy.

Stupid Democrats.

The notion that the left-wing-liberal-conspiracy is a left-wing-liberal-conspiracy is obviously a left-wing-liberal-conspiracy.

We already had Abbott and Costello running things over here, and it wasn't funny at all.
Well, it's not just the big names in front, it's the writing, too.

Like Eric Idle of Life of Brian fame said of Passion of the Christ, "Hey, look! Mel Gibson made the very same movie but missed all the jokes!"

I swear, if the Left Wing were as busy running the country as they are conspiring to run the country, we'd have to import our scandals from overseas.

I've heard a few Republicans saying that if Hillary is elected, that means they can impeach her for her various offenses against the US and God and so on.

I think it'd be more effective to start a rumor that if the president is impeached within six months of being elected, you have to run the election all over again. I have cousins that would cheerfully vote her in, knowing in their hearts that Hillary would be impeached and that Donald would win the second election.

That is precisely not what I wrote.

I know. You worded it to avoid casting any blame on the Democrats in a post that centered on how the Democrats were all at fault. That weekend course you took at the Fox News Training Center paid off well.

I so want Trump to win the GOP nomination. Sure, there's a risk that this would result in that psycho freak being in charge of a large army right next door to me and that's a pretty scary thought, but that risk is neglible enough not to concern myself over. I just want to watch Hillary Clinton stand on a stage beside him and be forced to give serious answers to whatever the fuck crazy shit comes out of his mouth. That would be a show worth watching.

Hillary Clinton and serious answers? All she would be able to muster is "he is only attacking me because I am a woman. Please vote for me, for I have a vagina and he is a smelly, sweaty boy".
Playing the gender card

The only reason to hope Trump gets the nomination is to destroy this idiotic Tea Bagger movement. In '08 they thought they lost because McCain wasn't conservative enough. In '12, they felt sold out because of Romney. Now they are really pushing for this true outsider who speaks the truth and isn't afraid to
Trump is not a Tea Party guy. Ted Cruz certainly, Ben Carson probably, but not Trump. Trump is of the Trump wing (the tallest and most ostentatiously luxurious of all wings for sure) of the Republican Party.
make fun of women because they have menstruate.
Then Hillary is safe ... (also, "have menstruate"?[/grammar nazi])

And the less talented wife of a president who is a pathological liar and a 74 year old socialist with one pair of underwear is the best Democratic Party can do.
Face it, neither party has a great field this cycle.

Today on "Wow, they truly have lost their minds!" we bring you to a poll that came out over the weekend.

Yes, nearly 75% of those polled think that Donald Trump can win enough women and Hispanic voters to take the 2016 election. The guy who mocked a Fox News moderator's menstruation, will win enough women to take the White House.

Well, when the 54 million missing evangelicals finally crawl out from under their mountain of rocks, then you’ll just see who’s elected :cheeky:

“If you ask ourselves why do we live in a country where life is under assault, where marriage is under assault, where faith is under assault,” he said, “the last election, 54 million evangelical Christians stayed home. Fifty-four million. Is it any wonder we have the country we have when believers are not honoring the commands of the Scripture?
Really Cruz, all the evangelicals stayed home last election?

Ok, now on to reality based thoughts. Yeah, a large swath of the Repugs have definitely gone off the reservation. How Cruz and other don’t get laughed at for saying such absurd things is just weird, but it does seem to be the new Repug reality. I found it quite humorous that more Repugs thought Carnival (Ted) Cruz was born in the US than Pres. Obama in some recent poll of the lemmings. Anywho, we are still a couple months away from the first Repug primary event in Iowa. Carson has jumped well above Trump in several polls in Iowa, not that he will necessarily win the nomination either. I still have no clue as to which Repug might win the sludge feast. Though Trump has had far more staying power than I expected, I think Trump will still have quite a bit of trouble winning the primary. I’ll go out on a small limb and predict that Trump will not win the Iowa primary. He may come in first in New Hampshire. But then it is off to South Carolina and then Super Tuesday…

Can you wear out the syllables in "Just as bad"?

Is the best you can do is to call somebody a socialist?

That is not an insult.
