Hillary is claiming a more moderate ground but she is quickly losing it due to her penchant for adopting radical proposals by the other two D candidates.

Newest one? Stop enforcement of immigration laws.
Hillary Clinton comes out against deportation raids in break with Obama
Speaking at a forum aimed at young and minority voters in Iowa, Clinton said the raids had "sown fear and division in immigrant communities across the country. People are afraid to go to work. They are afraid to send their kids to school. They are afraid to go to the hospital, or even the grocery store."
Then they should not have come to this country illegally. Duh!
Clinton had previously drawn criticism from pro-immigration groups in 2014 when she said that unaccompanied Central American minors who had crossed the southern border should be returned to their home countries.
Damn right! Too bad she is flip-flopping now (just like she did on things like Keystone XL) due to perceived political expediency.
"We have laws and we must be guided by those laws,' Clinton said earlier, "but we shouldn’t have armed federal officers showing up at peoples’ homes, taking women and children out of their beds in the middle of the night."
I guess it's ok to go after men. After all, women are the more equal animals, right?
Clinton's rivals, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, had come out strongly against the raids when their planning was first reported last month. At the time, Sanders said he was "very distubed" by the reports, while O'Malley called the raids "mindless deportations" that were "at odds" with America's character.
Mass illegal immigration and lack of enforcement of immigration laws is at odds with US as a society governed by the rule of law.
Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the raids were designed to deter immigrants from illegally entering the U.S. "As I have said repeatedly, our borders are not open to illegal migration," Johnson said last week. "If you come here illegally, we will send you back consistent with our laws and values."
If anything there should be more of that!

Early in the process I had hopes for O'Malley. He had a good resume and unlike the rest of Democratic candidates he wasn't eligible for Medicare or even close to being eligible. But unfortunately he established himself as a pro-illegal candidate very early on.

And by the way, the forum she said it at, the "Iowa Brown and Black Forum" is purposely designed to exclude whites. How is that not racist?

Are raids the only means of enforcement?
I mean, if she wants to stop raids is that automatically dropping all forms of enforcement?

What other effective means do you have against a massive influx of illegals.
If it is known that large numbers of illegals are employed at some plant the logical course of action is to raid the plant, deport the illegals and arrest those who hired them.

I guess what the Dem candidates want is to declare these newest illegals as "Dreamers" and just give them amnesty ...

Yup, granted, I do think she is pandering on this. She is a panderer, the master of pandering.

Man it is going to suck for some people that his panderer is most likely going to be President for 8 years.

You guess.

So, that's not what she's saying, but it is what you want to hold her responsible for saying...

Gosh, what a huge surprise in your chosen tactics, Derec.

Gosh, what a huge surprise in your chosen tactics, Derec.
So tell me, what other remedy other than these raids do you propose to get rid of this newest wave of Central American illegals that measure in 100s of thousands?
And if you do not get rid of them eventually they become eligible for this amnesty nonsense, which is the end-game for the far left - make US a hispanic majority nation as quickly as possible.

And by the way, the forum she said it at, the "Iowa Brown and Black Forum" is purposely designed to exclude whites. How is that not racist?
Because it is not designed to exclude anyone. It is designed to discuss issues of concern to nonwhite voters. Are you assuming that white people should not or are not concerned about issues important to nonwhite people? How is that assumption not racist?

Meanwhile a Town Hall forum held in New Hampshire is xenophobic because it didn't include people from Arizona!

Because it is not designed to exclude anyone.
But it explicitly is.
It is designed to discuss issues of concern to nonwhite voters.
Which can be brought up at any other forum or debate since none, literally none, of them are for whites only.

Are you assuming that white people should not or are not concerned about issues important to nonwhite people? How is that assumption not racist?

How is excluding whites from a presidential forum, even putting the racial exclusion in the very name, not racist?

What I propose?
I'm not running for president. You really should ask a candidate what she might want to do.
Does 'stop the raids' automatically mean 'stop all enforcement?'

There are answers out there, and the way to get them should not be 'argument from ignorance.'

You are defending her position.

Those raids are the only thing that is effective given the massive scale of the problem. Unless you have another idea.

Last I checked, Hillary is still white. Bill may be another story.

White voters are excluded, not candidates. "Purposely misreading a point for $100, Alex".
Would a "White voters forum" be any more acceptable just because it didn't exclude the likes of Obama or Carson as candidates?

From everything I've read so far, nearly all of the people rounded up for deportation so far have been families who were here seeking asylum and had their cases rejected. These people have been wearing ankle monitors so it's not like ICE didn't know where these people were. My understanding is that people (Hillary?) are taking issue with the tactic of raiding homes in the middle of the night to take these people away rather than using a less harsh method.

She should have told that to her husband.

I do not think the Affluenza method (wait until they remove the monitor and flee to Mexico) would have a great chance of success. :)

No, i'm criticizing you. You got bupkes towards supporting the conclusion you're flogging.
I have more than you or those supporting these illegals have.

Here is a picture from the Iowa Black and Brown forum:

Yup, looks like white people were excluded.

So, you don't think Illegal Mexican Immigrants returning to Mexico on their own is a success when it comes to returning Illegal Mexican Immigrants to Mexico?
