The leaders of the armed militant group occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon are in custody, and one is dead following a confrontation with authorities on Tuesday, according to NBC News. The FBI says Ammon and Ryan Bundy, the brothers leading the group, were arrested, along with six other people. Arizona rancher Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, who acted as the group's spokesperson, was killed in the confrontation, and Ryan Bundy suffered a minor gunshot wound.

Yeah. It makes one a little nervous that others will show up to deal with the FBI. No one should die over this. However, they are tilting at windmills and can't be convinced of otherwise.

And Ammon Bundy can have that guy's life on his conscience for feeding him the bull that he has propagated.

The latest seems to indicate from the beleaguered fools that the women and children are gone and at least on of these glum louts thinks they will be killed. All they have to do, is lay down their arms and surrender peacefully to authorities, but they seem bound and determined not to do that. They want to force the issue, get shot and be hailed as martyrs apparently. Drama queens to the end, at least some of them. It looks like the authorities have all the roads blocked and nobody gets in who does not live there. No more trips to distant grocery store, no more deliveries of dildos and vanilla coffee creamer. No more visits to area bars and restaurants. It all remains to be seen, will they finally give up peacefully or try to engineer suicidal flame outs.

Last I heard they encountered a roadblock and tried to evade it. They crashed, some charged the feds.

According to the feds, they were pulled over at a traffic stop and told to surrender. Most of them did.
According to Ammon Bundy, he was already in the back of a police car when he saw the dead guy raise his hands over his head in surrender, when they shot him in the face. At least, that's what some patriots are saying his wife says he texted to her from the back of the police car. Some of the patriotic websites are calling these third-hand accounts 'eyewitness' accounts of 'the murder.'

So, the guy who said he'd rather die than go to prison either lied about his statement and was surrendering when they killed him, or Ammon Bundy may not have had the best view of what was going on as they tried to get the last guy out of the car.

Seems odd that if they were intending to MURDER these patriots for daring to stand up for their rights, that the feds only killed one guy. You'd think they could arrange an effective escape attempt and shoot them all.
