I'm kind of sick of hearing that because it ignores some things.
(1) It's not just that other civilized countries have a national healthcare, it's also that our healthcare costs have no stopping of dramatic cost growth. Something needs to seriously change in the healthcare industry to make this stop and it's the sole reason for high prices.
(2) The unstated costs of all other candidates is a war heavy government. One could also ask how would they pay for it but they didn't come right out and say I am going to get us involved in X number of expensive wars.
